Brian Broaddus (BB) mentioned on the Lunch Break (www.dallascowboys.com) podcast Dez did not look prepared. He compared Dez's game to the ones as a rookie when he had no clue what to do or where to be. He said Dez was not on the same page as Dak.

I know some on this board do not care for BB's opinions but I tend to value most of his thoughts when it comes to payer analysis.

That's impossible. I've been told by others on here it's 100% Daks fault, and he's absolutely dog **** for a rookie. In fact, we're winning in spite of him....

Dez looked like the WR who partied late. He looked dazed and not into the game. He wasn't the typical pumped up Dez.

Dez could have caught the throw on the left sideline but didn't come back for the ball. It was as if he didn't see it or just quit too soon.
Still a weird route combo with him and witten in the same area, an out with a comeback in essence your throwing into a bracket coverage you route adjusted to.

Well... Now that Broaddus said it, perhaps some of the Dez shields will wake up and see what he was doing Sunday night which was close to nothing. It's completely unacceptable. We are so far removed from those Cowboys teams of recent years that were ok with dogging it here & there & putting in a nice 8-8 effort. I'm offended as a fan that Dez tried to drag our young leaders back to that crap with his lackluster effort.

Here's a news flash for Dez. These young guys want to win. You're Dak's #1 option because you are allegedly one of the best veteran WRs in the league. Play to your potential every freaking game. Let's your play represent the leadership that the young guys feed off of. Run your freaking routes!!! Every single one!

When you keep running your routes and don't give up good things happen....Just ask OBJ.

at one point in the game I was wondering if dez was playing in the game or was out for some reason.
He was not a # 1 WR last nite, and not earning the big bucks he is being paid.
Butler dropped a td pass, and lot of fumbles, and bad passes, so I guess the balls were slick and frozen hard.

I wouldn't say Dak should not have throw to Dez on that second interception. That's the type of throw you make to a receiver expecting him to make the catch or make sure it's not intercepted. Perhaps the mistake Dak made was not realizing Dez was taking the game off and then expecting Dez to show some effort on the play.
not Dak!!! the coaches and bench him!!
day off a multi$$$?
