I can't find the 2014 Oregon game. I thought I had it on the DVR, but it's gone. You can see some other games by searching for Eric Kendricks.

It could help that the USC game was a month and a half after the Oregon game. He was returning from the hip surgery in 2013.

If the talent is equal, you have to go pass rusher over RB. The Franchise Tag for RBs was about 10M. The Tag for DEs for almost 15M. In general, your pick has more value if you get a quality DE than if you get a quality RB.

Ajayi, Coleman, and Gordon have all shown they are elite, both inside and outside the statbook, Owa hasn't yet. Owa had decent stats in the Oregon game, but I want to see how he performed because that was the only really good OT in the PAC 12 last year. Beyond that, RB is a much greater need for us THIS year... and I want to win a Super Bowl THIS year.

I have lot of concerns about how those 3 RBs game will translate to the NFL. I'm sure they'll be OK, but I'm not certain any of them are the starter in 2015.

Coleman - College game is based on outrunning defenders. That rarely happens in the NFL.

Gordon - Also likes to outrun some slowish defenders. Didn't have as much success against NFL type talent (Ohio State). His OLine was a big part of his success.

Ajayi - He runs outside often and is definitely not fast enough to do that in the NFL on a regular basis. He looks powerful but does not really run with power.

Donovan Smith recently announced he will attend the draft. Curious what that means in terms of what he is being told be teams.

O Odiggy IMO is going first rd, he has that bend and uses his hands which separates the wheat from the chaff, just like it did for DeMarcus Lawrence last year in the draft. He just stands out in the later games of the season, easy to say the hip was healing and was playing better.
Some of us are forgetting that the Cowboys will be drafting RB for the Defense so the value on that talent does not translate to the other teams.

I love the trade back, & the first pick. I really like Randall, but I just wonder if safety is a huge need, since we have little to nothing at the corner position. Taking one at 155 seems like an after thought. You have no DT & Donovan Smith is a prototypical man blocker. Since we run a zone stretch blocking scheme, we need small, quicker offensive tackles, like Jake Fisher or Ty Sambrailo. Although Allen is a quality back, give me Mike Davis of SC any day. He's that shorter, quicker back with the size, instincts, & vision we haven't had since Emmitt rocked the house. Is much more of a home run threat too, but that's just a personal preference.

We have Heath behind Wilcox and Church and no one else...plus Randall would most likely play CB in sub packages to start his career anyway. He was a CB in JUCO and is capable of playing man coverage.

And I didn't take a DT because I don't believe we are taking 1 in the rounds 1-5. We've shown 0 interest in any guys at DT thus far. I honestly believe the coaching staff feels comfortable with what they have. Not saying I necessarily agree, but I've accepted that our team just doesn't value the DT spot.
