My frustration with the 2012 draft reached a boiling point last night

Wilber is a starter by necessity only. He's nothing more than a JAG.

A good backup JAG isn't a bad return for a 4th round draft choice, and IMO he looks like he could be a solid starter going forward.

Comparing our '12 draft with the Eagles '12 draft just made me sick to my stomach, I almost checked myself into Parkland Hospital last night.

You want to know why we suck every year? Throw away the myth that the draft is improving with Garrett just look at '12.

Trade up for a cornerback who can't make a play if his life and his family's lives depended on it. Meanwhile the Eagles get a game sealing interception from their 4TH ROUND PICK that year in Boykins.

While we have dime a dozen players like Wilber and Hanna to show for our mid/late picks, the Eagles got a STUD ferocious linebacker in Kendricks in the 2nd rd. That guy will be in the Pro Bowl soon while Carter continues to voluntarily run into blockers. Our 2nd round pick was right before the Kendricks pick, we could have had him but of course we went with the flashy pick that lives in the training room.

Add to the fact that they didn't wait till their QB was decrepit to find their replacement in the 3rd round and added to the trenches in round 1, it's easy to see why we are outclassed every year.

Our obsession with these "rudy" types got us Wilber, Matt Johnson and Caleb McSurdy!!!! LOL freaking McSurdy when you had Vontaze Burfict (top 3 linebacker in the league) waiting there for you but these imbeciles went with the Montana Muscle.

That draft ruined us.

Boykin's got beaten pretty badly on the route he got the int on. He made a play on the ball thrown right to him. If that ball is on target Austin probably had field goal range for us right there.

Generally speaking this place always seems to gush over another team's players, especially after we just lost to them. Right now the majority of this board is focused on what we didn't do right this year. The reality is the Eagles aren't that much further ahead than us right now. They only won 4 games last year and barely eeked us out for the division crown this year. And I HIGHLY doubt Foles and Chip will be as dynamic next year once every defensive coordinator has an offseason to check them out. Look at how effective the Shannahans and RG3 were this past year.

The Eagles led the NFL in rushing. It's a tried and true recipe for winning games.

I don't see Chip Kelly's offense as anything like the read-option stuff from last year.

I don't buy the "teams will figure out Chip Kelly's offense" by next season theory like I did on defenses figuring out the read option.

You do realize that all 32 teams passed on drafting Burfict at least 6 times.

Wow I haven't seen that, that is a pretty amazing draft by the Eagles

Fletcher Cox, Mychal Kendricks, Nick Foles, and Brandon Boykin in your first 4 picks? That's amazing.
