My guess is this team goes 8-8; If we do should they trade up for a QB?

They wont get Goff. He will likely go number one. Hackenberg and Cook liely there in the teens FWIW. I do think QB is a pressing problem, as is WR, RB and for god sakes a Safety that can cover and tackle.

Gotta get a replacement for Romo. He does not have that many years left. I don't know if any real good QBs are in next years draft but trading up will be easier with a mid round pick. Should they do it?

No. Deep QB draft. A very good prospect will be available in the mid first

I'd rather not trade up for any player or target any position, especially in the first round.

Depending on our record, I Carson Wentz in the second or third.

I think Wentz is a first rounder. I see him sandwiched in between Goff Jones and Hackenberg at the top and Kiel and Kessler in the late first early 2nd. I think him and Cook go mid first

Could be.

Could be a very deep QB draft this year. Goff, Jones, Hackenberger, Cook, Wentz, Kiel, and Kessler are all possible first rounders. I doubt 7 go in the first, but I could see 6

Then again lots will change from now till April

Jones is dropping out of that first round consideration. Hackenberger is also falling and my hope is that he continue to fall cause that is the guy who I believe will be the best QB in this class. Wentz is also a good gamble IMO.

Jones could be one of those guys that considered a 2nd round pick at the end of the season, destroys the combine and scouts talk him back into the top 5

Hackenberger would be a great get to sit and develope for a couple years. Franchise QB talent. If Obrien stayed he would be the first pick in this draft

That is the best part who ever we draft should have at least two years to further develope before taking over as a starter. And this is the year to do it. The timing and the QB class is as ripe as it is gonna get.

I am 100% in the RB camp. Especially Ezekiel Elliott. But if we have a top 15 draft pick I would fully support drafting a QB.

No. Until Romo shows real decline, we're a legit contender. First-round pick should be DL or Safety, possibly even CB, depending on who is available where we'll be picking LATE in the first-round. RB's can usually be had in rounds 2-4, but I would also place that position much higher on the list of priorities. When Romo's healthy, the offense is good enough, especially with an upgrade at RB. The 2016 Draft needs to be heavy on defense, especially along the DL, you can never have too many good DL.

Nah... 8-8 would be a worst case scenario... Win 2 out of the next 5, and we're 4-5... Romo will lead us to a strong finish of 5-2 at worst, with even 7-0 being possible.

Not trade up, but a QB ought to be the top pick next season unless they're entirely picked clean. I can't imagine it's even much of a question. Trading up, though, for such a high-risk proposition at a position with such a high bust-rate? No thanks. I'd rather sit tight and look at multiple low-first or second round picks and pit them against each other and make them fight.

Its a strong tier 2 class like 2014. I think there would a Garpopolo level prospect in the 2nd. Downside to that and the upside to taking one in the first is you dont have the 5th year option

that is a good point, I still need convincing as to the quality of this year's QB crop.
