I'm of the opinion to take a 2nd round prospect if we can find one. He will get to sit and develop. No need to take a 1st rounder and sit him for 2 - 3 years behind Romo. But, we have to start developing now. This can no longer wait. If somehow Wentz fell to the 2nd. Pounce on that.

The issue is the 5th year that 1st rounders get. I'm not saying we should reach but I think Jerry is genuinely convinced that Romo lasts 3 more years, which means that 2nd round selected QB plays one year and then hits Unrestricted Free Agency.
