20M in 2023 would be about 8% of the cap.

The Seahawks had 2 DTs that added up to about 8% of the cap back then.

The Cowboys in 2022 (including Hankins) were paying less than 4% of the cap to all or their DTs combined.

Really hope Payne ends up in Dallas.

And I love your draft. Torrence, Mingo and Gray are my guys. I'd rather let Pollard walk though, add a guy like Abanikanda late and draft Mooney instead of signing Crosby. I also really like Payne Durham in 5-6 o fill out the TE room.Great blocker, underrated receiver.

Martin has been restructured a couple times already… think they’ll go Gallup first… Dak they’ll have to extend… they’re already paying him 2 seasons after the current contract expires!

And Jerry ain’t paying any of that for a 1tech. He wouldn’t pay half what they’re projecting Payne’s going to command. Any thing beyond 3yr 20m is going to illicit a massive gag reflex!

Nice work. I'd love that draft but Kancey jumps out at me. I've not seen any projections where he falls to the 5th round. I've seen him as high as the 2nd round.

I like Haener a lot as a developmental QB, too.
 
IMHO, the way to go is not paying big money to RBs, drafting a couple in the mid rounds and fixing the OL to protect Dak and pound the rock.

I've seen 2 rd 3. And those have been the only 2 I've looked up lol, cause xwalker is for sure most mocks have him early round 2 round 1. And I've only seen the one he showed. I just think teams are gonna see just how much he isn't Donald. He's good but he wins mostly with hands and inferior talent. Donald had the same kind of tape, but with Donald it was everything you could just see he was so much better. This guy is going to struggle in the nfl. And I think he's gonna fall because he's not for every team, so teams are going to know they don't gave to reach for him.

Haener I see him regularly. I'm from fresno and go to almost every home game. He doesn't do anything really good, but good enough to carve out a long career as a quality backup. Very smart, and leads his team. He was gonna transfer to Washington this season with DeBoer as he was Fresno states coach but changed his mind.

The guy from fresno I hope Dallas would look at is jordan mims, rb.

Robinson and Gibbs are the type of rb that every team is going to start going after now. With what McCaffery, Pollard, and Etiene are doing, guys that can kill a team running and receiving.

Probably not, but if they were going to pay a 1tech, one with 11.5 sacks would be the type they would want.
