Oh yay another plan thread!

Cut: Carr, Free

FA: Sign Lamar Miller, Rolando McClain, one of the three big name safeties, Matt Moore, take care of a few of our smaller name guys, try to get Claiborne on something friendly

Draft: Myles Jack in the first, Braxton Miller in the second, a nasty DT in the third

Position changes: Put Byron at FS permanently, put McClain at SLB

Free signed an extension last year, really doubt they are cutting him.

I don't think he's bad there, but he would be good at SLB too. If you draft Jack he's gotta be MLB

Jack can play anywhere. He will be fine at SAM. He'd stay on the field on passing downs with Rolando McClain being replaced by a DB. Jack would be a better nickel backer than Church.

Rather spend the RO money on a CB and free is not getting cut when you have no one who's started a game to replace him.

If Jack is gonna play SAM then were are you moving Sean Lee to....Lee is to brittle to play MLB.

Green. I know he's green, but why the hell did we take him in the 3rd round if he can't beat out an average guy in Free

Look, just understand this. He was a blue chip prospect that just happened to get hurt again before he could see the field for the Cowboys.

He's a walking talking weapon of mass destruction waiting to unleash himself on an unsuspecting NFL.

All I can say is cover your head. There is going to be fallout.

If he's even average, it's an upgrade since he's young and cheap

Geoff Swaim is young and cheap. Ready for him to take over for Witten?

No cause I don't consider Witten average. Gronk, Effiert, Kelce are the only 3 I would definitely take over Witten as of today. Maybe not even Effiert cause he's always hurt

You said young, average and cheap was good enough.

I played dirty with the Swaim thing.

But seriously, Free has been a punching bag around here for a pretty long time and he is far from the reason why we are not successful.

Would I love to replace him? Sure.

But since they drafted an oft-injured underachiever like Green to compete, I am more than willing to see how that plays out.

Our FO made that bed. Lay in it.
