My plan

Oh yay another plan thread!

Cut: Carr, Free

FA: Sign Lamar Miller, Rolando McClain, one of the three big name safeties, Matt Moore, take care of a few of our smaller name guys, try to get Claiborne on something friendly

Draft: Myles Jack in the first, Braxton Miller in the second, a nasty DT in the third

Position changes: Put Byron at FS permanently, put McClain at SLB

So you're going to cut Free without any proven option to replace him? Don't like that kind of thinking.

Let Green beat him out and then you can cut him.

Feel the same about Carr. Who's replacing him? Claiborne, who you are going to try to get on a friendly deal, which probably means Dallas won't get him?

Do you have a "B"....................... ;)

Braxton Miller in the Second? I'll throw my Fish Tacos at the TV if that happens.

I'm with you. I don't really understand why Miller is rated as highly as he is. I mean, he is a good athlete, he does have excellent size for the position but his hands are not exceptional, his route running and blocking need a lot of work, his production at WR is not even average, 26 catches for 341 yards and 3 TDs. He's a project to me. IDK

He apparently dazzled at his senior all star game workouts but I am with you guys. I wouldn't touch Miller until the 3rd or 4th round because he's still very much a project.

He reminds me of the kid the Eagles took in the 3rd round from Oregon a few years ago. Played mostly TB at UO and they tried to convert him to WR based on his athletic skills. He's still struggling to pick up the position 3 years later.

McClain at MLB isn't the problem at all.

A motivated McClain is the issue.

A player who isn't motivated and doesn't appear to love football is a problem. It's hard to count on a player like that and you're not going to build a great team with players like that.
