My plan

Yep ... and when Romo is hurt again, we're looking at another 4-12 season. Yay !!!

Oh yay another plan thread!

Cut: Carr, Free

FA: Sign Lamar Miller, Rolando McClain, one of the three big name safeties, Matt Moore, take care of a few of our smaller name guys, try to get Claiborne on something friendly

Draft: Myles Jack in the first, Braxton Miller in the second, a nasty DT in the third

Position changes: Put Byron at FS permanently, put McClain at SLB

Braxton Miller in the Second? I'll throw my Fish Tacos at the TV if that happens.

Look, just understand this. He was a blue chip prospect that just happened to get hurt again before he could see the field for the Cowboys.

He's a walking talking weapon of mass destruction waiting to unleash himself on an unsuspecting NFL.

All I can say is cover your head. There is going to be fallout.
Why did you have to go and say " unleash".

Im still in shock by damage Devin Street did after he was unleashed

Our garbage bottom of the roster talent is always ready to unleash.

It is how we are conditioned as fans.

Our front office assures us each and every year we have a Super Bowl contender.

So, those who have the same mentality of those that would have bought snake oil back in the late 1800s are all in on that.

Its the FO and the Tom Ryles of the blogosphere that convince fans that the 7th round and UDFA DE whose names I cant even remember are so good that Greg Hardy might not even see the field when he comes back from suspension. Or that the Cowboys wouldn't have drafted Smith if they knew they would be able to get Nagy and the other guy

The FO is able to pitch the snakeoil. The Ryles and the others etc. are the barkers in the back of the crowd.

Due to success of the franchise, Ive noticed Cowboys fans hit the levels of cynicism as alot of other fan bases. Being a WNY native, fans up here almost universally trash everything the Bills do. I think, no matter how long ago makes fans buy in. They want to believe they are on the cusp of that again

It'd be the same if we go qb in the 1st too.

I can take a 4-12 season if our young QB is being groomed for the future and gaining experience ... ala Aikman 1989.

I CANNOT take another 4-12 season where we have NOTHING to look forward to in the foreseeable future.

A few questions:

1. Who are your RBs?
2. Who are your TEs if Witten is done?
3. Who is your starting RT?
4. Who is your swing tackle?
5. Who is your backup QB?
6. Who is your future QB?
7. Who are your DEs?
8. Who are your DTs?
9. Who are your CBs?
10. Who is your SS?

If he's even average, it's an upgrade since he's young and cheap

Not really. You can do a lot worse than Free. He was actually solid last season as the year progressed. He is just an easy target since he is the oddball out of our OL. I hope Green gets a shot at the job but if Free is still better, he should be starting.
