Sept. 17, 2014 I am predicting that Adrian Peterson will be wear the star next season. I do not believe he will play another down for the vikings. He made the call to Jerry this past offseason. The vikings will be trying to move him this offseason and I am willing to bet he will point his agent toward the Cowboys and tell him to make it happen he wants to come home.

That is my prediction.

Well, if his trial is still pending next year, I can't imagine that playing for Dallas would sit well with the Montgomery county jury.

Put it in your sig. :)

I would rather have Murray. For cost and age reasons. He has more in the tank to give, plus AP actually does have a fumbling problem. No thank you.

I would try and keep Murray. He is young and I think has a lot more in the tank than AP. If Jones lets go of Murray to sign Peterson for more, than someone needs to place Jerry in the psyche ward. Maybe they can put him in the same room as AP and he can beat some sense into him (pun intended).

He is getting long in the tooth, too expensive, and we already blew it on one aging vet...

I doubt anyone is going to do the Vikings a favor and trade for that contract and scrutiny. Knowing he'll be cut if they are trying to shop him and don't find a suitor, I just can't see any team wanting to be "that team" who's chomping at the bit to bring a guy in who's being let go because his actions were unacceptable.

If not a Viking I would imagine any team interested would wait cause they know they can, but also so they can pretend like they did their homework, met with the guy, and saw a "good person".

After further reflection I believe he called Jerry for a lawyer referral...

Let Peterson FIRST successfully wade through the morass of issues with his personal life before you plug him in at RB for next season (RB being arguably the easiest offensive position to fill via the draft - AND never mind that Dallas ALREADY has capable RBs on the roster, including the current league rushing leader).

It would likely take a chunk of change to realize the Peterson scenario. For that reason alone I don't buy it.

I had the number one pick in my fantasy league, skipped him in a heartbeat even though he was listed as number #1
Took Manning instead. He'll never catch Emmitt Smith now.

Pass on AP, no matter what. I said this a year ago also. We don't need an older, high paid RB.

He may be one of those RB's, that when his legs go, they will go fast. Jason has done a great job of making this team younger. I think he keeps it that way.
