Could be that he still is the #1 back in the league, a superb athlete and could very well be a generational player at RB. That being said, RB isn't as highly valued as before, he's hitting 30, and there's no guarantee he would keep up the pace 1-2 years down the road.

I don't think Jerry &Co. are salivating at acquiring Peterson. I think he may be an option if they can't come to an agreement with Murray and decide to use the draft picks on other positions next year.

If they lose Murray, and if they don't draft a RB, and Peterson comes here on a cheaper, short, contract I wouldn't be opposed. That being said, I'me happy with the status quo at RB.

Maybe AP just wants to be a Cowboy so bad and be close to home that he will come here for a very low contract, like say $2.5 to $3Mill. Now that would blow some minds lol
