My quick hits on the game

Watch Terrell McClain...he had a pretty decent game...I think he is starting to get healthy. Selvie also much more active.

Durant with a FF and a recovery.

- Imagine the things this team could do with a pass rush. Defense is really solid right now, but it could be elite if only we had a pass rush. Demarcus Lawrence can't come back soon enough. We're lucky that we're playing Washington next week, but I wish they hadn't discovered Colt McCoy is a good QB. I wanted him as Romo's backup before he was drafted. Was disappointed when we didn't get him this year.

Lawrence and Brent will be welcome additions. That is the one thing this tesams needs is to put the hurt stick on the other QB.

- Romo has been as money as Dan Bailey. That one interception wasn't his fault, it was completely on Dez, but I knew that like Murray's fumbles would motivate him to make it up to his team or more appropriately I should call it his family. Almost had 4 TDs today on no picks. Not bad for a bus driver...

The pass to Escobar may be the best one I have ever seen him throw. Perfectly placed just in front of the safety.

- This team is family now, and you can tell. Closest Cowboys team I've ever seen. They're really playing for each other out there.

Yes, the culture has changed.

- As I said in the past Gavin Escobar is legit. No idea why he wasn't getting more opportunities until the last two games. Should he have been picked? No. Was he a good player when we drafted him. Yes. Would he be appropriate in a two tight end offense? Yes. Should he be used more? Yes. So should Bailey and Dunbar.

Escobar is a real weapon now.

- Would love to see a screenshot of all the people who thought we would have a losing record this year. You should have at least believed in this offense.

Was a great post until you star up with the fan police shtick. We all love the team. Isn't that enough?

- No complaints from Parnell so far. Tyron got abused all game though.

Parnell played well. But also made Freee look good as well. Something we all overlook lately.

Can't Thumbs Up point #1 enough / Point #2 not so much.

looking at the team D stats its weird: we are 27th in Sacks (6 total) but 3rd in passes defensed with 35. 19th in total D; 16th pass; 17th run; 8th in pts per game.

Now we know a fair amount of that improvement is the fewer plays they are on the field due to the ball control offense but they still have improved a lot more than I thought they would.

Our only real weakness on D is the pass rush

Ok, that's cool. So you know those Jimmy years were some very tight knit groups. "White House Close" LOL

I think there is a huge difference. This team isn't just celebrating super bowl victories and being super bowl champions. They're climbing from low expectations together. A lot of them are players who have been generally overlooked and thought little of, but you can see the culture across the board. I don't remember seeing that as much with the 90s teams, but hey I was only a kid, maybe I wasn't looking for it.

With Dez,TWill,Witten,Escobar, and Bailey, the defences have to rethink doubling up on any one of them.

I love the chemistry of this team. I only wish we could lock up Dez, DM, and now RMAC, so that I could be confident we had a young solid core for a few seasons. When guys take less $$$ so that they can stay together, that will tell me what type of "family" they really are.

However, I am content with having this group for this year and loving every minute of the "now"

I couldn't agree more with your points.

If Tyron got abused all game he would have gave up 3-4 sacks.

He held his own. JPP got one. Big deal.

I agree. This talk that JPP dominated Tyron is nonsense.

Romo had a lot of time to throw. Yes, JPP had some pressure, but only on a few plays. We would not have been able to have such a good passing game if Tyron got abused. I did see 1-2 plays in which JPP got the best of him, but that was it.

Tap the brakes on McCoy. He's been in the league already 4 years or so and has done nothing. This is his 3rd or so team in his time. How good is he really? 70 of his yards today came on a 10yard pass that Garcon took to the house because of poor defense. People kept saying the same about Cousins after a few good games and ready to annoint him as the savior of the Skins.

I hate to put so much hope into a rookie, but our lack of pass rush will catch up to us some day.

Tyron Smith was not the same today, that ankle is worse than he or the team has let on I think.

He stilled played relatively good, just not his dominating self we have come to expect.

I think Bailey is utilized properly. Not sure what else you want to use him for, other than kicking.

We want Bailey to be more like Buehler. Because even Chuck Norris shivered in the presence of the Buehler.

To be an elite defense, we need a pass rush and a safety that is better at playing the pass.

Once again TEs killed us again today. Luckily their TE doesn't know how to hold on to the ball after the catch.
