Five years ago, i would follow every news or topic related to my beloved Cowboys, not anymore... i used to get so angry when they lost, but know i'm used to it, it's sad but is the truth. I remember when they won those Superbowls in the nineties, i was so happy, believe me, even when my favorite futbol(soccer to you guys) became champions i wasn't so happy, and i love my Pumas de la UNAM. This year i'm planning to go to the stadium to see a game with a bunch of friends from Mexico, but honestly i'm looking forward to just enjoy the experience, regardless of the score.

I don't recall when I, a proud son of the hills of Farmers Branch, will half the luxery of just watching the Cowboys this season and seeing how the team really executes.
You see, I will half no expectations of playoffs or postseason play.
And that might make for a season of chill.

Our offense might actually take a step back if Romo plays like he is shielding hisself from hits and is more judicous with his throws. One big problem might be that Witten continues to get lots of attention from Romo and the new WR Williams gets his share. Then Dez might feel . . . not fully utilized.

And face it: the defense is being rebuilt with guys who if on other teams might not make the team. And take it from me: the secondary will not improve but get worse because our D line will make it tougher on corners and safeties.

Do anybody else feels this way? Will we be reduced this season to observers of technique and personnel and not cheerleaders? Please respond because I half got to know.

Go for the throat like they did in Detroit?
They used to "play down" to their opponents, but now I think they just lack the talent.

Detroit was winnable.WE lost because of the play selection during the waning moments of the game. Garrett curls up and plays scared or just flat out doesn't know what to do when its crunch time. Thats why teams just beat us during the waning moments. If we just learned how to run out the clock we would have been fine. But our new coach is learning and thus we are supposed to forgive and forget because Garrett is new and has very little coaching experience.

The following is food for thought. I want you to read it and then not be so knee-jerk. OK, read it, digest it and try to live it:

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men – not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate, and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular”
~ Edward R. Murrow

Half you learnt something now? I hope so. Let freedom ring in your life, your ice fishing hut and in your social club.

Nope sorry you're quote of enlightenment did not convince me that having no expectations was a good thing
