I know the numbers won't indicate it, but I really believe that this was Henson's best game yet. The things that concerned me most about him are beginning to show signs of going away.

He improvised today. The deep crossing pattern completion to Zuriel Smith was after Henson had moved around a bit. The TD pass today was a check down. He showed good escapability and for the first time that I've seen him, since he went pro, he showed a feel that pressure was coming.

Threw some high velocity passes today. Still needs to work on his touch and deep throws.

Again, in my opinion, best game he has played so far.

He made 3-4 throws that were really damn good. I mean, throws that made you say, thats what we are talking about.

But yeah, his long throws have a lot to be desired. But last game I think was more of precision and short passes. This game he tried more long stuff, and coupled with some drops, he completion percentage wasn't that good.

All in all not bad game, but not great game either. I did like his ability, at least in this game, to find 2nd and 3rd and sometimes even 4th reciever. Far more patient in the throws than last game.

It's all about development. Henson has 2 years to continue his progress.....at least two years.

I'm not writing him off anymore.

While not spectacular, he isn't showing the glaring flaws that a Hutch showed while over there. He seems like the experience is helping him. He does do some things that make you remember why he was so highly regarded.

I feel like if they start throwing the skinny post more, ala Aikman to Irvin, this will be his bread and butter.

I think Europe is very good for him. He is almost going to double his football games played since high school over there. :)

He is doing a very good job of driving the bus. Keeping the mistakes down and don't lose the game.

Looking good so far.

RCaldw, I didn't remember how he used to NOT feel pressure, but you're right about that. He did seem to sense pressure today, unlike before.

He seemed willing to take the hit to deliver the pass.

His most impressive play......

he and the center had a botched snap. Henson cooly picked up the ball, moved in the pocket and found the open man for the first down.

He's far from ready.

But he looks to be making progress. It will take a ton of time. At least another year.

The few times I have seen him I have noticed the "Tom Brady Cool" in him

My take on Henson, who cares, he sucks!

If he "sucks" then you most definitely are a bitter old man.. Thought you jumped off the Dallas Cowboys bandwagon after T.O. was signed??? What made you swim back? To post "HENSON SUCKS", :laugh2: If Drew sucks then you most definitley

I wonder what it would take for people to say he had an average or bad game. Bamboo shoots?

The same (or more likely less) thing that it would probably take for you to say he had a fantastic game.
