ok, while i disagree, i'll go down this path. what is the cost to trade parsons? to be honest, im not sure. now, who wants to give up (2) 1sts for him?

to do what you're suggesting is what should have been done BEFORE those (2) contracts. the fact you're saying this is a good way to handle overpaying, to me, is like saying someone who just did (2) monumentally stupid things will suddenly get smart.

im gonna say "no" on that one. :)

Look, I'll concede that Jerry screwed up, and I've been fuming about a lot of his offseason activity. But the best way, to me, to try to fix the problem is to try to get as many draft picks.

As far as Parsons goes, I could see a team who really needs a pass rusher. I would say someone like the Ravens, Bengals (who's defence is atrocious and would love to have Parsons), maybe the Rams (they could use pass rushers and they've been known to trade firsts), and a few other teams.

Obviously, it's not ideal, but that's the situation Jerry has put the team in imo. Given that he seldom spends anyway on FA, may as well try to load up on picks as much as possible.

Id rather spent a pick that high in the first on something other than a RB. I love Jeanty but lets trade up in the second or somewhere to get a good rb. Id rather try and get a stud DT

Well, if we can't get Jeanty, then I think Gordon from OK State in round 3 is the next best choice at RB. So, we could do something that way. But, if we can get a second 1st round pick this year, then we probably could get both Jeanty and Walker .

i like a lot of this and think your ideas are good. i wish we had 1992 jerry he would have done all of this. but 2024 jerry just wants to Mc Scrooge it and count the money his mediocre team brings in from entertainment
1992 Jerry didn’t do a damn thing. Jerry has never and will never be a real true GM. It’s only a title he gives HIMSELF!

Since Jerry bought the team, The Dallas Cowboys on field product was completely and entirely ran by Jimmy Johnson until Jerry fired the HOF coach

But again just so everyone knows… JERRY HAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER BE A REAL AND TRUE GM

I like your thinking, but if we dont do something finally to stop getting gashed for 200+ yds a game then I dont think it matters who we have running the ball. For my tastebuds, Id like to see two first round defensive studs at DT .. then.Ol , I think with that special dt spot filled our rush would be greater also

Oh, no doubt, but I'd either want Walker round 1 or Nazir Stackhouse round 2. I was thinking we could double up at NT. Get Stackhouse round 2 and Toia (NT UCLA) round 4. Do that, and we have a nice two punch NT set.
