This 3-3 is frustrating. But for me its not a glass half empty situation, for me its frustrating because this team should be 6-0 in my eyes. They shouldnt have one blemish on this record. IN these 3 losses the coaching and play calling has cost them 3 losses. Sure the defense have given up more plays then they have in the previous 3 yrs in 6 games. But there have been situations in the last 3 games that have cost them 3 wins. Wether it be dumb challenged(Garrett) or just flat out bad plays being called(Moore). You can even add bad ref'n at the end of games. Dak and the offense just need to not let the game get to this point where they allow the coaches or ref's to become a factor. Nix the slow starts and you control the game from the opening whistle.

I read posts and threads still questioning Dak. There is no questions, this guy is one of the best QBs in this league. If you hate him then hate him im not even gonna try and change ur perception. He's the least of this teams problems.

Now i read more posts and threads about Pollard should be getting more snaps lol. No he shouldnt, Elliot is and should be in there doing what he does. Where before we were spoled by the best interior OL in the NFL. This yr we have a Zack Martin playing thru a bad back and you can see hes not anywhere near 100% and then you got Frederick who is getting better the more he plays, but the real problem comes at LG where Wiliams is showing he;s not a G. He should be groomed to be the next LT. He has some very good footwork to play outside, but he just doesnt have the strength to play inside. IMO i think Looney should be starting at LG. Reward him for what he did last yr.

I have no idea how Lewis is not playing more, and how Heath continues to start. Lewis game up some catches but he also made that INT. The more he plays the better he will get. I think we might have a chance to see him play more with Jones and Brown hurting.

These DTs are absolute garbage at times right now. Other times we see them getting after it and making big plays. They need consistency and they just dont have a player inside who plays this way.

Demarcus Lawrence just doesnt seem to have full strength yet. He just doesnt seem to be able to get that leverage yet. He probably shouldve started the yr on the PUP but with that contract i dont think that was an option on his side. Think too his decision to wait on surgery was a bad choice on his part.

Robert Quinn is a monster. he's tied for 5th in sacks in the nfl in 2 less games then the leaders. But hes getting better looks because teams continue to double Lawrence. He's ,aking himself some money this yr tho.

Vander Esch seems to have regresssed a little. He's getting juked this yr by RBs. But for the most part all the LBers are struggling a little because the DTs cant keep OL off them.

I think something needs to be done with the coaching. Richards is a problem, KInd of reminds me of Rob Ryan and stuck in his ways, and looks like its all a rah rah speech with him and preching more his his ways rather then adjusting to whats happening ingame. JUst drilling into players that his game will work because its worked in the past. Instead of adjusting to whats happening in that particular game.

I've been saying it Jerry might be looking to make a splash in 2020 but not on the player side. But the coaching side. Bill Belichick is going to be available in 2020. It was thought he signed an ext this offseason but it was 8mil dollar raise for this yr. NO secret everything is not all roses in NE with Owner, Coach, and QB. Dont be suprised to see Jerry take that step back to get a guy who will get a SB for him. And at the same time weed out some of them dead weight players on this team.

Ive seen alot of "fans" already giving up on this team. ITs a sad sight, and this is what Stephen A Smith talks about within the Cowboy fanbase. These types of fans prove him right. Dont be one of these types. Root for your team win or lose. Dont ride the high horse when times are good, but walk with your tail between your legs when the times arent rosy. And dont use the its been over 20 yrs and you had enough. So you would rather be miserable for 20 yrs then to be misery free by not waiting for something you dont think is going to happen? Not a healthy life choice.

Be a FAN, be a DALLAS COWBOY FAN win or lose. Enjoy yourself watching this game and this team. :star:

Lewis should not be starting over Brown, Jones or Chido. Lewis gets lost looking on many plays. Yeah, he got a pick, I know that. I disagree with almost everyone on the board with Heath as well. Heath constantly cleans up plays that the LBers have blown. Heath and X Woods often have more tackles than J. Smith. That is a major issue. The team expects Heath to bail out the rest of the team that is not doing their job.

On the Pollard topic. There is no way in heck, that I would reduce Zeke's workload and give snaps to Pollard. However, with two receivers out, playing the win-less Jets, Pollard could have been in the slot more often, how about a screen pass. No Cooper, no Cobb = more Pollard.

I don't want to here any more excuses for D-Law. I have heard nothing but excuses for his lack of performance since he came into the league. I have heard them all; he is a rookie, he faces double teams, he is injured, on and on and on........ I watched D-Ware play with one arm, with neck stingers handling double teams and he received no free passes of sympathy from the fans. Lawrence is a fraud.

No excuses for bad defense:
Lack of pressures.
Leading tacklers not named LVE, J Smith.
Turnovers
Giving up more than 17pts.

Offense:
Outscore opponents. I don't care how you do it, just do it.

I am ready for Sunday.

Three quarters of football left. We win 2 games each quarter that puts us at 9 wins

Bill Belichick would be an idiot to come here to work for the grand puppeteer.
I don't know why we're even mentioning this. Did I miss something. Never never never. And if I have learned anything in life change is inevitable. And Never Say Never but this I totally believe will never happen lol

Optimistic post. Don’t see too many of those around here anymore. Too bad it’s about to get ripped apart. As Mother Gothel says: “The Cowboys are dark, selfish, and cruel. If the team finds the slightest ray of hope/sunshine, it destroys it.”

Sorry...this team should not be 6 - 0. The Packers wasted very little time showing us that we are not in their league...don't let the final score fool you
The Saints game was much like last year. Last year we won by a slim margin...this year they won by a slim margin. They have now won 4 games with Teddy Bridgewater as the starting QB...that just proves the coaching and culture in New Orleans is ripe for football success
The Jets? Again...don't let the final score fool you. Only arrogance after the fact would suggest we SHOULD have beat them. Looking at the game...we were thoroughly beaten by them

The person who started this thread mentioned it on the original post. I was just replying to it.

Lawrence has 27.5 sacks in the last 38 games. Khalil mack has quess what 27.5 sacks in the very same amount of the last 38 games. They lead the NFL. They got the same production in that time. Now i think Mack is more clutch and makes more plays that affect the outcomes of games. BUt Lawrence isnt a waste or fraud.

You are wrong on Williams being a tackle. He washes out of plays at guard and you want to put him on the blindside? What? Short arms, lack of hand strength, bad foot work and now slide him to tackle? What the heck?

I just want the team to win Sunday. I don't care how, just win.

These clowns dont bother me. I can debate with people who dont have the same views. I just ignore the ones who try and troll.

Maybe youre seeing a designed wash and not understanding thats what theyre supposed to be doing, and the opposing team comes behind that with a delayed blitz. Or a looping DE thats looping behind that. This is what opposing teams mean by predictable when refering to the Cowboys as player after player have said reffering to routes being run and blocking schemes. This is a coaching problem not a player problem. IDK what ur seeing but Connor doesnt have bad footwork, i see a strength problem.

K.mack threw up those number mainly after he got paid by the Bears....if anything, better numbers

D.law numbers have fell precipitously after getting paid...various reasons, excuses, but non the less

mack has been the best since he came into the league. saying his numbers are after he got paid is stupid. Lawrence is coming off a surgery. Lawrence has been playing very good since 2017. Leading the NFL in sacks and being the rated as the best DE vs the run. He's down right now because he's coming back from a injury. An injury he played with last yr. You couldnt do what he he does with 1 arm with both your arms, couldnt do half or even a quarter or even a 10th. The injury and he's still doubled religiously by other teams. He's giving Quinn a big pay day.

Lawrence has always been a bit streaky as far as sacks. He will probably have a 5 or 6 game stretch soon with about 7 or 8 sacks. Especially if Quinn starts getting doubled. Which he probably will. If is top pass rushing form, almost where he was in 2013

In 64 games with Oakland he had 9 forced fumbles and 40.5 sacks. Compared to 21 games with the Bears where he has 10 forced fumbles and 17 sacks.

You lost me at 6 and 0. Did you only see the 4th quarter of the GB game? Because they got smashed for 3 quarters. Please stop with that.
