Love the fact that this team is forced to play Escobar because noway should they let this kid leave. Swaim while good he's not better then Escobar, and imo he's Wittens replacement.
Escobar contributing and becoming a bigger part of our offense will only make it better.

As much as i have voiced my opinion on the Dak/Romo situation it pained me to see him on the sidelines looking kinda lost. You can tell he was itching to get out there, but knowing this wasnt his team anymore had to be agonizing. Im not the biggest Romo fan and never have been, so im not going to pretend to be or sugarcoat my words and my support for Dak, but today i didnt like seeing Romo on the sidelines one bit. He needs to be starting for somebody in 2017.

People have been barking about what if a team takes Elliot out the game whats going to happen to Dak then. Well today we saw him take apart the number 1 defense in the nfl. after that first quarter he was awsome in his reads and his lead of the offense. By the end of the game there wasnt anything Baltimore could do to stop him. Dak is rookie of the yr by far with all due respect to Elliot. Dak IMO should be leading the MVP race too. Most valuable player means exactly that. Where would dallas be right now without Dak..and not just that, the guy is top 2-5 in ever qb stat there is.

Dez just looks like he's coming to terms with the change, and looks like he's having fun again. The guy is running better routes and running different routes then we normally see. He's actually making me remember why i become such a big fan of his.

The OL for the first time all yr didnt win this matchup, but i dont think they lost it either. Both sides had their wins and loses. Much respect to that Ravens DL. Even when Dak was picking that secondary apart there was still pressure on him. He was just making plays. Glad this game is behind the team.

DL just got manhandled today. But they played scappy and kept the gains to a minimum until BAL felt desperate late.

Hitchens shouldnt be starting and nobody could convince he should be. Durant is the superior player and it shows and shows big on running plays.

This secondary is fighting thru the injuries and it needs to keep it up. I think they need to bring in some more bodies.

Some of the early issues in running game was due to Escobar being so soft as an inline blocker, he struggled holding the edge. Escobar is just a tall receiver on this team.

Nope. Romo now. Lol @ how nobody here can be objective... Blinded by the wins. And of course someone will say I hate Dak.

I am a huge Romo fan but count me amongst the win blinded too. It's all about the W and Cowboys under Dak have just stacked more consecutive wins in the gaudy history of this franchise. Not just talking about Romo now, this includes Meredith, Staubach and Aikman as well. These QBs have been instrumental in some of the greatest teams in the history of the NFL, never mind the franchise.

Escobar is a hit and miss as a blocker. since he's been active ive seen him make some good blocks and get beat on others. But its an improvement from what he's done in the past. Witten isnt going anywhere for atleast 2 more yrs.

I think 9-1 says alot. No game is perfect. Not every pass will be, Romo had plenty of passes that he wish he could have back. There may be plays Romo can make that Dak can't but there are also plays Dak can make that Romo can't either.

I think the ones who are filtering in a few bad plays and focusing their entire argument on that, rests on a subjective stance.

Like everyone, (including you), I love how we have found ways to win games that we have in recent memory, found ways to lose. Last year we were upset because we couldn't win with Romo and now that we're winning without him some will still not be happy (not saying you). We can't choose how we win.

Romo is still the better QB. Each week there are at least 4-5 passes that Romo makes that Dak just completely whiffs on.

The problem is nobody is 100% sure if Romo would be the better QB.
Knowing how tight JG/JJ and Romo is, they would start Romo if they were 100% sure. Unfortunately only way to find out is having Romo start at the risk of losing some games that could cost us later when it comes to playoff seating.

The reward isn't worth the risk right now. Not when you have a 9 game winning streak.

Who says the offensive line didn't win the battle? It was a tougher fight but who won? Whose quarterback threw for three TD's?

The offensive line was blocking for two record setting rookies and they kept setting more records today.

While I agree, I see probly the same number of plays where I see Tony getting sacked. It's tough as Tony is in my top 5 favorite players

Durant's knees are shot. Can't play more than a handful of downs at a time.

I think Dunbar should be the #2 RB over Morris. Morris has no explosion and no feel for the offense.

Escobar can't block to save his life. He doesn't have the feel for routes and Swaim is far more useful. I don't see Escobar as the replacement whatsoever for Witten when Witten can no longer go.

I think we are playing too much man again, probably due to Church being out.

I agree, Dak is the future and an amazing talent. Romo is a better QB at the moment but an infinitely bigger injury risk. There was no wrong answer in keeping Dak as the starter or in bringing Romo back.

Its funny because the last three games have had long stretches where Dak would make more poor throws than good ones, but he drove the bus so a large percentage of the posters here forget that it happened.

Over the past three games, Dak has only completed 20 of 22 fourth quarter passes...resulting in wins.

Dak makes plays running with the ball that Romo wouldn't.

People forget that prime years Romo is gone. Current Romo would have to make protecting himself his #1 priority.
