My thoughts 9-1

Over the past three games, Dak has only completed 20 of 22 fourth quarter passes...resulting in wins.

Through his first 9 attempts today he had 4 completions and a sack, with one of the completions being a check down that lost one yard. Like I said, if you look at the last four games (especially Philly) he has stretches where he throws poorly.

By that, it wouldn't be a stretch if one described a human knee as nearly dysfunctional because it bends backwards as well...efficient production when all is actually on the line, doesn't just get explained away.

The thing is with this team when they get down they don't panic.
They pound the run over and over and they slowly beat the opposing defense down.
Then the offense opens up and they roll.

I read that three times and I honestly don't know what you mean by it.

:huh:Just attempt to explain away a QB rating at about 110 now...for the season. That's a complete picture there...

Only a select few of us have the decoder ring required to understand CC.
:) Shouldn't have given up on cereal so soon in life...liquor is only good for so many things.

But the box tops would have got you that decoder ring...:)

"I am glad you are here with me, Samwise Gamgee. Here at the end of all things."
Just own up to answering the questions asked, and why a snapshot of I saw a lot of bad early on...without referencing more than a feeling, beyond four passes and nothing more specific than a loss on an early check off pass.

Isolation on a single feature is not thorough. Bend in either direction of the knee, doesn't explain away performance dynamics...and the application to topic is implied.

I wouldn't say didn't win.... Other teams have outstanding talent as well. Give the other guy some credit. Our offensive line did a solid job against a stout defensive front.

It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
Till I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin' away

Conveniently leaving applications back to topic out of your direction taken...oh, I see.

"Conveniently leaving applications back to topic out of your direction taken" is the memory game I used to memorize the Lathanides in the Periodic Table.

OK, I'll stop. I said Dak has stretches of poor throws. I don't see how anyone can argue that point.

How many of Dak's throws are stepping up in the pocket or ignoring intense heat, and a completion is the result? Early errors do not touch the intensity of fiber involved in Dak's total package in delivering the ball. Today, I saw about three early balls that could have been delivered better...but the 'rook' still has to gain feel of many types of games. Today, he just went against what was being projected as the best, base defense in the NFL. Did he gain a handle? Yea, he did...and well. A total picture shows that as well.

Dak makes plays running with the ball that Romo wouldn't.

People forget that prime years Romo is gone. Current Romo would have to make protecting himself his #1 priority.
Romo is a better passer. Because of this, he often suffers from instead of taking the play that's there, going for the bigger play. It can be more exciting, but will lead to more mistakes. Romo is used to having to force plays to win because the teams were bad around him.
