This is similar to the threads after the Eagles game saying we could be 10-0 when Romo returns. In that thread I told people to be realistic and that we'd probably still have a shot at 4-6 or 5-5. Nothing has changed. I envisioned 2-3 wins without Romo. We should've won one already so we're a little behind what I hoped. I think best case would be at least beating our division opponents. I'd even be okay with a Bucs loss if it meant we beat the Giants and Eagles. It'll be tough to win 3 out of the next 4. Even 2 out of the next 4 seems unrealistic with the way we've been playing. But I'd be happy with 2 out of 4. We're a 4-0 team with Romo, a 0-4 team with Weeden, so hopefully we can at least be a 2-2 team with Cassell.

Defense is going to have to play out of their mind the whole rest of the season. If they do that Dallas has a good chance to win the NFC EAST !!!

I am not looking that far ahead, but with OBJ injured and Prince out for a couple weeks I think Giants chances of losing the next week is pretty big... meanwhile if the Eagles win next week and lose to the Panthers (both seem likely) we will likely have a shot at first in 2 weeks and if Gregory and Dez are back, I like our chances (especially Gregory and Hardy and Crawford against their o-line). I am not sure of our chances 13 weeks from now, too much can happen between now and then but being in first after week 6 would be really nice.

Matt Cassel isn't our savior in my mind... Dez might be. Finally having a legit #1 deep threat will do so much for this offense. Beyond that even without Gregory we held the Pats to 13 points in their first 7 drives, that will go a long way to beating teams like the Giants, Bucs, Seahawks, and Eagles (2 of which we have already beat).

It's not all on Matt's shoulders. There will be a stronger more formidable running game coming out of the bye with the insertion of La'el and Christine. The offense is about to get its groove back like Stella.

Meh... Too predictable to ever get a RB consistent space to run in.

I hope things change but I just don't think they will until Romo comes back and saves everyone.

You'll come around. You always do.

I hope Michael goes off. I really do.

I just don't believe in RB's that have no space to run in making a difference.

If you give Joseph Randle space he'll torch you just like he did the Falcons.

It's all about holes to run through and we don't have them.

Actually it's not. We may lose one but we are very well setup to go on a tear if we win this Giants game.

It's also about breaking tackles. Not just the smaller arm variety but also the true iso one on one matchups. I have much more confidence in Michael to handle both with success more consistently than any other back on the roster.

I think we've seen Randle get guys off of him when he is able to get to the 2nd level.

The problem is we can't get him to the 2nd level and I think we'll see the exact same problem with Michael.

Michael is the RB version of Cassel. It does not matter unless other things are fixed.
