So everyone just wants an offensive minded coach? I hope Garrett/Linehan/Dak figure it out, but all I know is I have loved what I've seen from Kris Richard so far...

It’s an offensive league and we have been so lackluster offensively from a coaching standpoint.

Richard is under contract so no need to make him the head coach.

Payton would be my top choice. Maybe a down year and he gets the ax. His record hasnt been sterling the last 5 years, but I don't think its his fault

Exactly. Now, he could eventually become the assistant HC as time goes on, but that will be up to the next HC. I wouldn't mind a defencive coach, but, as far as our offence goes, you know by now which version I want.

I agree, and he'd be someone that I think could build this offence. Quick question, is he a WCO? If not, no worries, but I'm just curious.

I agree. And I'd be curious to see what the new coach either makes of Dak or finds at QB.
Considering his contract its very possible to keep Dak in 2019 and draft a new QB high. If we dont have to surrender a huge chunk of two drafts to get a QB, then keeping Dak in 2019 may even be smart

I think he is more of a spread guy. But he will coach to his roster talent

Works for me.

I agree. Besides, Dak was drafted to be a backup. He just happened to look very good in 2016. In fact, it'd be good to have a backup with starting experience. Ask Philly. Not saying that he's Nick Foles, but it'd be nice to have him in our back pocket if something happens to the QB we take.

I think if you keep Dak in 2019, you plan on starting him or have him compete with a high draft choice. I think its good to sit a QB for a year ( Mahomes had 4 TDs last week), and then let Dak walk after the year. He will want to start somewhere and some QB needy team will give him a chance

Trading him is also possible and might be smart if we give up a Wentz/Goff level package for a QB

Is that when he's signed through? I'd be happy to let him compete with the rookie as competition is always a good thing. Then again, so would an extra draft pick for trading him.

Ive been whoring the point Tyrod Taylor got traded for a 3rd. I think a late 2nd, early 3rd may be Prescott's value on the trade market

Hey, an early 3rd wouldn't be a bad thing either. I'd certainly be happy with it. We could add a new WR with that.
