1: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Outstanding DT prospect that can align all over the interior in am even or odd front. Can penetrate, achor and stack and shed. Reminds of Muhammad Wilkerson.
2: Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
YAC monster with jets to threaten defense's vertically. Reminds me of a better version of Brandon Aiyuk coming out back in 2020. Aiyuk maxed out and became a #1 WR. Burden has that potential and would be an elite #2 opposite Lamb and would take alot of attention away
3: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
Neck and neck with Pearce here. Nolan gets the nod because its hard to find quality 3T prospects. Nolan really put it together this year with 7 sacks. He could be a Madubuike type player
4: James Pearse, DE, Tennessee
Explosive edge rusher. If he was 10 pounds heavier right now he might be a top 10 pick. Wouldn't shock me if he is anyways. By year 2 or 3 will probably be about 265. Could be one of the better all around ends in the NFL. Reminds me a bit of Josh Allen
5: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
Grants stock is going to be interesting. Probably wont be much of a 3 down player his first year. However he has exceptional athleticism for his size, and should develop into a Daron Payne type player. He has been able to rush the passer at UM, but does on on athleticism. Needs to develop more of a pass rush arsenal in the pros
Some notes:
- I have Mykel Williams and Will Johnson off the board. If we start losing, they become guys to watch
- I dont have Jeanty on their because Im a believer that its not smart to use that kind of capital in a HB. His usage also scares me
- Id like Starks more if the class wasnt strong at premium positions of need. He will probably be drafted in our range, but I cant justify it with the needs we have in the DL and WR
