She ordered me a Dallas Cowboys Christmas stocking. It's nice looking too. I'll try and post a picture of it later, along with one of the license plate frame I was telling you guys about.

That's Awesome Hos!!!

Hostile, you should let your wife know of all the great wife stories her gift and your telling of it have inspired.

Congrats.

Kilyin's wife is awesome, too! :D :D :D

We love the Boys so much we named our daughter Brianna Dallas. If she was a boy, she would have been named Emmitt.

Regardless, you have to train them. You can find a Cowboy fan, but they are never as fanatic as you are, and they sip lemonade in the stands while you drink beer and yell yourself hoarse rooting for your team.

Wow...and here I am hoping to find a man who loves football (and the Cowboys, duh!) as much as I do! It's weird...I could sit and talk football all day and out of my guy friends at work, I've yet to find one who is into it as much as I am. One might be, but he is a Raiders fan, and seriously, where do you go with that? :spidey:

I converted my girlfriend. She grew up a big college football fan (her day went to Notre Dame), but she never had a pro team. PERFECT! She has a Romo jersey that she wears every Sunday, drinks beer, and yells almost as loud as I do. My family thinks she's nuts because of how much she roots for the Cowboys; I think she's amazing because of how much she roots for the Cowboys (and a bunch of other reasons too).

my family and friends were all Cowboy fans. They tried to rope me into their way of thinking and then at 12 yrs old I watched the ICE Bowl and jumped on the Packer bandwagon and have never gotten off. The ride has been as fun as I am sure you guys have felt being Cowboy fans. There are three teams in the league that can fill any stadium at any time. They are Cowboy fans, Packer Fans and Steeler fan. Maybe Oakland is a distant fourth but those first three teams are National Teams.

I am not obsessive compulsive except with the Packers. My wife knows that my during game time my space has to be clean, everything in order, 61 inch Samsung DLP TV angled to the comfy chair, no phone to be heard, cell phone put up, dishes in the dishwasher, and counters have to be cleared. She makes sure all that is in order when the game is on.

She really is as good as a football wife as I could ask for. Actually she is a great sports wife. As good as she is during football season, she is about as good during baseball season and being a Met fan, I can watch them at least 162 times a year. The closest she ever came to complaining was when we first got married. I asked to go with me to a sports bar to watch the Packers and on the way in she said, "The Things you do for love". She has hung on to that motto through our marriage.

I got one. She was a Bears fan till she met me. (shes from Chicago so I did not hold that against her, she hates the Cubbies as well, thats a plus). But I let her know if he wanted to hang with me on Sundays shes gunna have to watch the Boys. Slowly over the last 10 years, shes become as die hard about the boys as I am.

Once you marry them, they can't help but become a Boys fan.

Wife's a Dolphins fan, but now we basically root for each other's team all the time. She loves the Cowboys, and gets into the games.

I love the cowboys, but my boyfriend for the past two years has constantly accused me of being a bandwagon fan because he believes no one who is born outside of dallas can be a true cowboy's fan.

well, i haven't bought anything for him, but I did indulge myself in some nice cowboy's tank top and other unmentionables. ;):catty:

Hell, I'd be happy if my wife was a FOOTBALL fan, let alone a Cowboys fan.
