My wife moved to the Dallas area with me because I wanted to go to the games. After we moved here, she got a job with the Cowboys so now I get all the perks of her job.
She's a huge fan, and she buys me all kinds of stuff from the pro shop because she get 40% off as an employee. I never miss a home game except the Thanksgiving day game.

I love the cowboys, but my boyfriend for the past two years has constantly accused me of being a bandwagon fan because he believes no one who is born outside of dallas can be a true cowboy's fan.

Same here bro.. never been to dallas or TX period.. But loved the boys since i was about 12-13 years old.. Hopefully i can make it to a game out there someday. :

a bandwagon fan. lol, jk. he just does this every week to try to get me riled up (isn't that usually the girl's job?!)

he's not fairweather, but he does tend to want to turn the channel when the boys are down (while I'm holding out for a miracle). so, i'm not the one who loses hope when the boys are behind (he also blames me when something doesn't go the boys way).

He just assumes that i'm trying to please him by being a cowboys fan. anyone else feel that way about their significant other? (btw, if I really wanted to please him, i'd be a Commanders fan, so we can bicker about it every week.)

I'm from El Paso myself. Wasn't much into football until I met Too Tall Jones at an autograph signing here in town (at a Walmart i believe, back in the late 80s). I started looking into football and the Cowboys and have been hooked since.

I went to my first game last year (thanksgiving), and 2 this year (Giants and Patriots). Even when they lose, there's NOTHING like sitting in the stadium. NO such thing as a bad seat in there hehe. I hope you can get out there for a game sometime. It's an experience you won't forget
