I think his actions last night were even worse than Albert Haynesworth, when Albert stomped on Gurodes head. That was a mess. He needs to sit for at least 5 games like Haynesworth or even more. And while it hurts to say it because they are Steelers, the guys protecting their QB from Garrett's attack don't deserve any suspension.

I am shocked at how many people are defending him or equating his actions with Rudolph.

You can't shoot someone in the face for shoving you.

Any one of us would be arrested. Garrett should've been as well. IMO, he sits the rest of the year, huge fine. Next season? Not sure if he should play.

Go watch the video. Rudolph tried to rip Garrett's helmet off first and then got his ripped off instead.

He's got a point and if anyone knows it could have turned out much worse it's OJ.

Rudolph didn't like being wrapped and forced to the ground on what seemed like eternity. They were already scuffling before Rudolph got up. It did look like Rudolph unintentionally kicked Garrett in the groin area as he was trying to get garrett off of him, you could tell Garrett was not letting go at this point.

Regardless you don't use a helmet as a weapon in this manner. Because of this I'd suspend him for the remainder of the year. No one else should be penalized.

You be the judge:

Full season suspension. No way they even try for criminal charges in something like this, though Garrett looked every bit the thug. And who cares what Rudolph said to him? Scrums, pushing, and mouthing go on every play in the NFL and the rest of the players are able to refrain from beating each other with blunt objects. Between Mayfield, Beckham, Hunt, and Garrett the Browns are getting even trashier and I didn't think that was possible for Cleveland. My long standing hatred of the Steelers had me pulling for the Browns last night, I'll never do that again.

Why not try though. Remember when Brashear in the NHL caught a charge for the spearing incident

Rudolph was trying to remove Garretts helmet prior to them getting up. I'm not defending Garrett because he clearly went too far.

I don't think some of y'all have been in fights before. That's not a bad thing but makes y'all's comments sound silly. You shouldn't get shot because you shoved someone but you can't expect someone to react the "correct" way to your shove. Maybe they do maybe they don't but the best way to avoid that is just not shove the person.
