How many times have you seen him get burned this year? I can't really recall any. I know he's a rook and all but he's got to learn at some point. I think he will be up to the challenge.

Are you kidding? EVERYONE mentions him as a top receiver (even though he really isn't). For several years in a row a few NFL publications had him rated as the freak'n best receiver in the NFL despite the fact that his statistics were consistently inferior and his play was undoubtedly inferior.
I guess the most consecutive 1300 yard seasons makes him overrated a Sb Ring, Probably like many of u say the best route runner right with Bruce. And quiet about what he does him and Bruce probably the most Humble all pro recievers there are.

UR nuts. He's probably the best route runner in the league. He may not be underrated, but he deserves every bit of the credit he gets.

How do YOU know what kind of route runner he is? You can't see what his route running is like from television.

I, on the other hand, living in St. Louis, have seen him play live. He is far from a great route runner. He rounds his cuts and has corners draped all over him unless he gets a release over the middle. When you compare him to Isaac Bruce, it's like night-and-day. Bruce is explosive coming off his stem; Holt isn't.

People just assume Holt is a great route runner because Isaac Bruce is. They basically typecast the entire Rams' receiving corps during the "Greatest Show On Turf" days, not even realizing the role Mike Martz's scheme played in getting them open.

Note Holt's significant decline in production the past 3 years. Note his AWFUL (non) running after the catch. His YAC averages (which you can find on yahoo) are beyond abysmal. Note his lack of 40+ yard plays the past 5 seasons. He has no deep speed whatsoever. The 40+ yard play he had this season was on a play where the ball basically fell into his chest while he was on the ground and completely blanketed.

He's a possession receiver who can't run after the catch and he's an ordinary route runner. There's a reason basically every decent corner who goes up against him is able to basically shut him down.

haha Wow, no doubt he has lost a step with his knee issues, but his lack production the last couple years is from having a lack of talent, coaching, an O line to block long enough for the QB............. Rams have just been a bad team.

I tell you one thing about Holt, if you get an angle on him or if it even looks as if he is going to take a hit he is going to duck the defender and head right for the turf. I don't know about slow and all the other jive but the guy will avoid contact like the plague and when he does take it 9 out of 10 times that ball will be on the turf.

im glad he's confident and all but i think he just guaranteed himself to be burned multiple times this sunday... lol dont challenge holt the guy is still one of the best ever!
No he isn't. He's a shell of what he was just 2 years ago.

I personally like Jenkins have the chutzpah to speak up. I think he has been our best coverage CB by far this year. He closes to the ball extremely fast.

I expect him to swipe one pass, maybe more.
