thought i was a post from Texags.com for a moment. McNiel > VY and McGee > McCoy.

I hope McGee is studying because he has a long way to go after he was ruined at A&M.

I'm glad to see McGee anxious and preparing for his 1st training camp. I don't expect to see him getting any playing time beyond pre-season. For McGee the future is not now but if he continues to work hard and learn he may get his chance down the road in the meantime prepare for that day.

I am thrilled we have a young QB with significant upside for the first time in quite awhile.

However, and correct me if I'm wrong because I hardly follow college football at all. But the guy has very little Div I success to point to on his resume that translates well to the NFL.

That leads me to feel that we more likely have the next Drew Henson or Chad Hutchinson on our roster than the next Tony Romo.

Just being honest...

I think he is a bit of an unknown. At A&M the offense under Dennis Franchoni was geared more to the option type offense the few times McGee did get the opportunity to throw more he did very well. All in all McGee does have a lot to prove but fortunately for him he will get the time to sit back and learn before he see any significant playing time.

Playboy Romo is going to have some real competition before very long in this guy.

Romo better step up big time this December and January or he will feel the heat. His care free, life is good attitude won't cut it when the pressure gets turned on with some REAL competition.

Why is it a joke? Even Aikman and Staubach said his nonchalant attitude about the loss in Philly was not the attitude expected of the QB for the Dallas Cowboys.

Overall Romo's play in December and January has been terrible. We've all made excuses for him for 3 years. The bottom line is it's time he step up and play well when it counts.

I heard CaptainAmerica did, too.

Not yet, but another year of December and January play like we've had the last 3 years and I will have a wandering eye. :D

I don't have their quotes but I think the more accurate representation was that he can't say what he did PUBLICLY because it will get misinterpreted and criticized. And that is exactly what happened.

I have absolutely no problem with Romo's commitment to winning and I don't believe for a second that either Staubach or Aikman do either.

In the same manner the guy was almost catatonic after the Seattle fumbled snap. Think he didn't take that seriously enough? Now in that case, frankly, he made the same mistake in the other direction. He sent a message of total defeat by reacting the way he did.

What Troy & Roger are saying is that Romo needs to think through carefully the appearance & message he sends in what he says and does.

Neither was criticizing his commitment or desire to win. Just his PR.

Both Roger and Troy are on record with their opinions of Tony Romo. They were hugely positive. Not that it's not totally cool to pout and whine about Tony's post-game interview demeanor anyway, guys.

Only it wasn't a nonchalant attitude. It was a fed up one about the questioning.
