Go watch the whole film. No QB could complete a pass to a WR that is not looking back unless that WR has eyes on his back of his head. Bease makes a cut and starts to look back a second after the ball is thrown.

You can see Dak looking at him waiting for Bease to make the cut until the pocket starts to collapse and he needs to dump it to Dunbar.

The pic you posted is a moment after the ball has already left Dak's hands.

Their called timing passes. As a receiver, you should expect to cut your route and have the ball hit you quite quickly from the moment yoi turn around. They literally have drills for it.

Looking at the film I think Dak could / should have waited for Beasley to make his cut. I think the clock in Dak's head was a little quick on that play.

If Romo can sit, Dak can sit.. feelings be damned..
Sit for what?

Brady's last three games in 2001, 54,56 and 58 rating and they stuck with him. Know why? The incumbent never won anything, neither has Romo. You ride the rook, win or lose, I already know the end of this story with Romo and it's a loss.

The last few games I have watched Dak's progression down field and he does stare down receivers. He is a rookie so I'm not going to bash him. But he does need to scan the field better. Bottom line he steps up or romo steps in. Either way it's a hard choice. I'm glad I don't haft to live with the decisions of this team. Ride Dak's hot streak or go with Romo experience. I'm so undecided at the moment???!?!?!?!

You need to get around more. Read through the thread "Sturm says there were no open receivers" and you'll find my full review and others who have seen the All-22 and plenty of folks who see that Dak wasn't the biggest problem. From Sturms' twitter is sounds like he'll also come out with an article saying about the same thing.

That's no big deal no one I know thinks Dez played better than Dak but , All but you n Sturm apparently feel good going forward into the playoffs with Dak with a healthy Romo on the bench. I'm not saying Daks a dumpster fire that should get cut, I have high hopes for his future but you don't play him in the playoffs with him playing like this poor reads, poor throws n poor mechanics. It's not fair to Dak to put the playoff hopes of Cowboys nation on him when he is clearly going to struggle it's not fair to Dak it's not fair to the team.

I know the ending of the story with a rookie QB playing like junk and its a huge loss.

Romo fans would kill Dak for the first 2 throws in this highlight.

1. An overthrown TD pass. Not a great angle but Romo fans would be livid if Dak missed a TD this bigly

2. If Romo hits Dez in stride, this may have been a TD. Romo fans and media would kill Dak for leading Dez towards the sidelines and not downfield. Wasted yards, you can't waste yards.

No tight window throws

I would rather the rook than the ten year guy who lost every final game he played every year since he started.

This is the same pic theogt posted that really shows if Bease was open. You can see Bease hasn't made his cut and isn't even looking back as the ball is about to be thrown to Dunbar.

No, it's because they were 0-2 with Bledsoe and he played like garbage and then got injured. Bledsoe still started the season.

That Jerry is openly speculating on it publicly makes me think it's shorter than we realize.
This is the thing I don't get about Jerry. He's asked about Romo at a typical weekly address. He answers the question. He didn't hold a press conference.

So I take what Jerry says with a grain of salt. But with how wide open the NFC is... And it's WIDE OPEN... this team will leave no stone unturned if Dak regressed quickly.

Maybe but you can see from the endzone angle the pocket starting to collapse. He could have waited but the way NY was getting pressure all night, I'm sure Dez felt he need to get the ball out or get sacked.

Romo hurt three of last four starts and oh by the way threw three balls to the other team last regular start.

In this case, had Bease made his cut a second earlier, I'm sure Dak would have thrown it to him. You can see Dak looking at him and waiting but then the pocket starts to collapse and Dak dumps it off thinking he might get sacked.
