4th quarter, 2:31 left in the game. Just need a field goal to tie. 2nd and 10.

Look at Beasley. LOOK AT BEASLEY. Is he open? Are there "no receivers open"? This play could virtually tie the game up.

What was the pressure like?

So maybe you have been paying attention. You finally posted a picture that supports your point.

Now Dak did throw to an open receiver and it was a nice pass. I do think he rushed his decision making and decided to check down too soon. In that situation late in the game you'd rather he take an extra half second to give Beasley time to cut. Maybe he noticed the late blitz from his right? Maybe? Maybe not.
Please, get over yourself. You can't repeatedly ignore all the evidence, and not use any to support your own position, and expect anyone to take you seriously.

I wonder how much time was spent breaking down all of Romo's losses like we're doing with the rookie?

Real question: How often did Romo throw into tight windows?

Tight windows seems to be everybody's favorite buzz words these days

I don't recall Romo being Aaron Rodgers when it came to tight window throws.

He and Brady have the quickest release in the game. You mention Rodgers as though he and Romo's QBR and accuracy aren't anymore than a small fraction apart.

I don't think Romo in any way plays this week unless Dak gets injured. They will wait the whole game and if it's bad, they'll make the decision afterwards and call Romo the starter after the game.

Go watch the whole film. No QB could complete a pass to a WR that is not looking back unless that WR has eyes on his back of his head. Bease makes a cut and starts to look back a second after the ball is thrown.

You can see Dak looking at him waiting for Bease to make the cut until the pocket starts to collapse and he needs to dump it to Dunbar.

The pic you posted is a moment after the ball has already left Dak's hands.

See endless memes and haterade throughout this forum and internet for the answer to that.

geez, when beasley is in the left slot like that and runs a deep pattern of any kind is he always open. Holy cow. Both giants games ended kind of the same way when plays to beasley would have won or tied it.

Hopefully they hit that sooner or later.

and as a pet peeve, sitting in the stadium I feel like williams is open all the time and never gets the ball. I think it would do a lot of good for the offense to hit some big plays to him.

...and the pillaging of Romo continues. He was only better than Rodgers in 2014...with only 15 games played.

Would be an epic mistake of biblical proportions, but we're used to failure, so...

Maybe they're playing the long game. Don't hit Beasley deep for 16 games, then smoke 'em in the playoffs.

That's true but I've also noticed he is holding on to the ball on his first read longer than he did earlier. Earlier in the season, people were complaining there were WRs downfield open but Dak would throw it to Witt or Bease on shorter routes.

When I watched all-22, he would come off of his first read immediately if the WR didn't have separation on longer routes. Past few weeks, I've noticed he tends to hold on to the ball longer waiting for WR to get open instead of dumping it off to Witt or Bease on shorter routes .

Yep, he was hitting the short routes immediately, not really as a check down after the long ball wasn't there.

Philosophically, they may have bet. attackinh teams in the passing game differently. It's possible teams are playing more aggressive in the shorter routes.
