Name a Comedian People Think is Funny But You Don't

Back in college, most my friends would come to my room to watch Letterman and herb out. Those early Letterman days were great and we were not prepared for Sam Kinison, it was his first TV appearance. He had us rolling and people were imitating him around campus for a couple weeks. :lmao:
"Anyone here thinking of getting married? You sir? What's your name? Bill? Well Bill, when you do get married remember this face:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! AAAAAAAAGGHHHHHHHHHH! AAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

I love his Jesus and Bible jokes. One of the few comedians - or maybe the only? - who was previously a preacher.

Steve Carell and Will Farrell. To me they're guys trying too hard to be funny without actually being funny.
Farrell, like Jim Carey, is good in small doses. Great on SNL, but just too much as the lead in a movie.

Carell is good when he doesn't stray too far from realism.

Whitney Cummings. She did this routine where she had a company make one of those romantic mannequin/robots of herself. When I heard of it, I thought that sounded creative and worth a watch. It wasn't. Despite that very unusual prop, she couldn't manage to think up any jokes about it that were actually funny. She just sounded like a whiny lady complaining about her ex. You can get that crap for free, if for some reason you want it.
For a long time I didn;t think any female comedians were funny. Joan Rivers was about the only one. But lately a few have been okay.

One think I do not like about female comedians is when they confuse raunchiness for humor. I just don't think using words for male and female reproductive parts is automatically funny.

Paula Poundstone was funny. @Xelda is funny!

Maria Bamford is funny.
