Darren Woodsen ... everyone always talks about the Monster O line and the Triplets ...

Woody was the heart and soul of those defenses in the early 90s.

I would not say Woody was the heart and soul of early 90's D (mid to late 90's absolutely). James Washington, Kenny Norton and Thomas Everett get my vote for early 90's. Russell Maryland as well.

Maybe even Kevin "Pup" Smith. Loved how he always went after Rice.

Eugene Lockhart could be another one. Eugene the tackling machine.

Sorry, but Lockhart had to be one of the most overrated Cowboys of his era.

Coach: Tony Wise

He was Jimmy's OLine coach. Houck didn't come to the Cowboys until Jimmy's final year in Dallas.

Danny White.

White never won a Championship but losing was not his doing. While there were good players in place there were alot of holes on those teams that ultimately brought them down. Yet Danny White got the blame for the losing.

Romo is very much in White's shoes now. He's much of the reason for any success they have with a few others helping that success along, the remaining others around them are not good enough to elevate that sucess into the playoffs, and in the end Romo gets blamed for the latter.

I had a long discussion about this with my dad a few months ago.

Then some how we determined the LBing corps was together for 10 years.

Hard to think about 3 guys starting together at LBer for 10 years together.

I would look it up, but probably by the time I hit submit, someone has the answer.

(now i just know i must be way off)
