Jackie Smith is a hall of famer. How did he not get his just due.If talking only with the Cowboys.Jackie Smith played in 12 games with Dallas in 1978,and caught no balls. He did catch 3 for 38yds,and a touchdown in the divisional playoffs, and no catches in the NFC Championship,or Super Bowl.So he got his just due as a Cardinal, and he doesn't deserve it as a Cowboy.

I wanted to put Golden Richards, but I don't know why I put Smith in there, LOL. Thanks for noticing!

Danny was the first to come to my mind as well. As a kid, I was crushed to see him weeping on the sidelines when the boys lost to the Commanders in the NFC championship game (Hope my memory isn't fuzzy on this one!).
Danny sustained a concussion in the first half of that game and had to watch the second half from the sideline. I remember them showing Danny at the end of the game in tears. I have always wondered how that game would have ended had Danny not been injured.

Current? Romo

Past? Quincy Carter and Antonio Bryant

This is crazy. Carter sucked and was an *******. Bryant never received any recognition because he never did anything except act like a child and waste his immense talent. These guys got what they deserved - nothing!

Agree on Romo

Dixon Edwards - hit like a truck and had some momentum changing hits for the SB teams of the early 90s. Hated to see him go to Minn.

Herb Scott from the old school teams. Just a great guard.

Mark Tuinea (spelling?) great LT on one of the best OLs in the history of the NFL

Kevin Gogan tough and mean as hell. Huge man.

Chad Hennings

Outland winner. Was on all three super bowl teams. Had 4 years shaved off of his career due to his military commitment. Was a leader, put up solid stats. Started when Maryland left.

If he would have been able to play right after college I think he would have put up great numbers. And he was part of a really good defensive line rotation, not getting as many opportunities as he may have somewhere else.

Not to mention what he has done after his football life. Just a great person.

Hershel Walker. Great player on horrible teams early in his career, then a very good back and KR later with the Boys.

Really wish he'd gotten a ring.

Sorry, but Lockhart had to be one of the most overrated Cowboys of his era.

Lockhart was a pretty damn good player. He just played on some crap teams.

Chad Hutchinson aka Chutch.:)

Seriously, my all-time favorite Cowboy, Thrill Hill, never really got his due, but he was fun to watch. Anybody remember the Wings of Victory?

The answer is obvious and its a damn shame but its #9 Im so sick of people, fans and the media bashing this guy.. they are clueless about the Cowboys.. This team would win 4 games without Romo... He is the best player sans Ware on this team period.. Is he perfect, hell no, but he gets way too much blame on a team that is so overrated every single year by idiot media members that dont know a thing about this team. Im 39 years old I have never in my life rooted for a guy more to win a championship more than Romo...IM not saying its a lock to happen, but without him this team will never have a shot... Romo makes this team a contender and part of the reason they are even relevant in the media is because how much bette rhe makes this team .. Without him this team would be exposed of every single weakness more so than they are now....HOnestly the Cowboys, even by their own fans are so overrated and its unfair it falls on Romo's shoulder... Enough alreday, its a joke.. The defense is god awful the past 5 years, our O-line sucks, year after to year aim so sick of people telling me this team is the most talented team in football.. We lack talent in places that actually win football games...Romo is the fall guy and it crap
