...that you feel the Cowboys will definitely add in 2009. Not someone you want real bad. A player that you think is "destined" to be drafted by the Cowboys. The player you would bet 10 bucks will be drafted by the Cowboys.

I think there are two candidates I would consider heavily...Derry Beckwith, ILB, LSU and Rhett Bomar, QB, Sam Houston State.

I'll go with Beckwith.

I hope we don't draft Bomar. He is a moron.

If we don't go receiver early I would guess we will draft Quan Cosby.

Hes a hard worker and is a versatile player. He is also a local guy also.

If we go receiver in Rd 2 Darrius Heyward Bey really intrigues me.

The guy has so much upside and could be a beast at this level if trained properly.

He is this years Martellus Bennett imo. All the tools in the world but you just have to get it out of him.

I'll second Beckwith. I'll add Smith at Safety.

I want to hear Theogt's answer. He had so much love for one guy last year and we snagged him...

If I go with only 1 player, it's D. Beckwith.

I had Bomar on my mock, but the more I think about it, I don't think we'll take a QB in the 3rd or 4th round. I think we'll take one in the 6th or 7th (a guy like Tom Brandstater).

Here's my wildcard pick in Round 2/3: Paul Kruger. I think he can play both inside and outside, with his hands on the ground and off. He has the necessary size as well. A Vrabel-type. He's very versatile.

I think we are targeting WR Nicks but too much luck/work required to get in position. My choice is:

Louis Vasquez OG Texas Tech

Raw, strong second day lineman that just feels like a fit

Michael Johnson. Can he play SOLB? Unger. Dockery. We must address the OL. Get another pick and draft 6 OL, 4 DL, 2 DB. J/K but you get the picture.

Derry Beckwith is 6'1" 232 lbs. I know you can put some size on once you get to the NFL but he's still too small to be a 3 down LB in the 3-4. I don't think we're going after him with our first 2 picks but if he's around like Bradie James was in the 4th you'reonto something.

What round is Beckwith projected for anyways? I think we're setting up for Clint Sintim who's stock is increasing. I think it's LB or a corner we're going for with our first pick.

I'm thinking Chris Baker from Hampton is tailor-made for the Cowboys' defensive line...

I also think the player in JerryAdvocate's sig would be a good fit in Dallas, Dannell Ellerbe is perhaps the best cover ILB in this draft, and could step right into Kevin Burnett's role...

With Bey's workout do you think he will make it into the 2nd round?
