Name one play. That you'll never forget by the Cowboys. For me. It was Smith dropping the ball in the end zone against the Steelers in the Super Bowl. I'm still sick over it. LOL
Cordell Stewart running it like 3 times in a row at the goal line and getting stuffed. Cowboys win Super Bowl.

Yeah, that was definitely a downer. The play, and it wasn’t even a play because the game was over, was when Bob Lilly threw his helmet in the air after losing to Miami in the Super Bowl. The Cowboys hadn’t won one yet and he displayed the frustration of all of us.

Wait - Dallas never lost to Miami in a super bowl. They lost to the Colts, then twice to Pittsburgh .

And like others have said, there are far too many for me to list. Been a fan since 1974 and have seen quite a bit in the last 45 years.

For me the criteria will always be any play that could change history. While there have been dozens of "great" plays in Cowboys history, Jackie Smith's drop probably cost the Cowboys a Super Bowl. Beating the Stealers in the '70s in a Super Bowl would have changed Cowboy history so much. Not just ring count, but HOF players and thinks like that.

SB XXVII...

Aikman throws that beautiful seam pass to Novacek for their first score. Aikman settles in and the Cowboys destroy the Bills and over the next few years go on the greatest run in team history.

There was plenty of time left in SB XIII.... Smith's drop came with 2:46 left in the 3rd quarter, and they only trailed 21-14 at the time. Yes, the drop probably contributed to the loss, and I remember being very livid at the time it happened, but Dallas still had a chance and should have won anyway. Those two SB losses are the reason I have hated Pittsburgh more than any other team for the past 41 years.

You are the farthest thing from being a Cowboys fan who the hell do you think you’re kidding.

Here's a list of the first 13 super bowls. I've highlighted the one you say Dallas lost. You were saying? Look at the year before - see where they lost to the Colts?

Is it really necessary for you to be a total butt head to every one for 24 hours a day?

Two of them, both Aikman to Harper.
1) 1992 conference championship at CandleStick. Harper didn't score but he sealed the game with a perfectly timed slant route.

2) 1994 playoff game against Green Bay at Texas Stadium. 94 yards bomb from Aikman to Harper.
