Name the one free agent we must sign this offseason and why?

I'd rather have Drew Brees than Kitna personally. He's still young enough to be a building block for the long haul. I also think he's better overall.

This UFA crop doesn't thrill me much. If Julian Peterson had different agents maybe.

I still hate kickers and refuse to put one of them atop my wish list.

WE ALREADY ARE SET AT THE QB POSITION for the immediate future....and why on earth would we pursue another QB named Drew when we have the best Drew already??:banghead: :bang2:

If I wanted your opinion I'd have responded to you or pulled your chain. I do agree though. Drew Henson being the QB would make me very happy indeed.

I wanted Brad Johnson last year too. Kelly Holcomb was a real find for Buffalo. Heard he was given the opportunity today to compete with JP for the starting job this year.

Who is Julian Peterson agents ? Must be the Potsons if your talking about THEM...

Too bad, Julian Peterson would be a great pickup for us. He's on his way back from the achiles so he will probably play better this year than he did last year, which can sometimes get you bargins.

You have earned one Gold Star today...!!!

LeCharles is from up here in Cleveland and the word around here is that the Browns are very, very interested as well...Stay tuned...

Mr. Clutch---Adam Vinateri
He won the Pats 3 SB's with his clutch accurate kicking.
We sign Vinateri, then fill the rest of our needs such as the OL, and FS.

Yep, that's who represents Peterson. He would be a great fit at SOLB.

I would rather draft Bobby Carpenter though.

That's where he wants to play too.

Yeah, it's a real difficult scheme to learn. Rush the passer and occasionaly stop a runner who runs to the strongside.

I'll make this easy.

See that 320 pound OT?

See that 300 pound guard pulling?

See that 260 pound TE?

See that 250 pound FB?

In Carolina, with that DL he rarely saw the first two, and probably rarely saw any of the 4 straight up at the point of attack.

In a 3-4 he will face one on EVERY play and sometimes TWO.

Get it now?:lmao2:

Well my opinion and expertise is always going to be offered Hostile, even if it's not always asked for. Now it don't make much sense to want to pursue another franchise QB when we already have one does it? John Kitna? Give me a break! Drew Brees? What has he done of note during his career except choke in a home playoff game? LT is the reason Brees is even remotely attractive in the free agent market, without a running game he would have no doubt been mediorce at best like most QB's in this league. He don't have the superstar potential to lead a team without a running game, star receivers, or offensive line like Bledstud can.

Also Tony Romo has a great chance at being the QB of the future when Drew retires in 3 or 4 years. Tony will benefit greatly from watching Bledstud do his thing on the football field.

Unfortunately though for this OTHER Drew currently on the roster, I'm a bit disturbed that you want to see him as the QB on this team. Apparantly you must want to be mired in the NFC East cellar because Henson is too raw, and it's debatle if he's ever going to develop into even a back up calibur QB.

Make no mistake about it.....Henson is fighting for his career in NFL Europe. Time to see what he's made of once and for all!

Ask Fujita, Vrabel and Porter.

Took Vrabel 5-6 years and he was use to going toe to toe with OT's in college.

Took Bruchi 2-3 .

All those guys have 20-30 pounds on Witherspoon.

That may very well be a deciding factor, especially since the Browns are a young team looking to make a move under Romeo Crennel. Rumor has it that Buffalo and Miami are in hot pursuit of his services as well. But of all the teams listed, only one of them has a premier QB on their roster. Something tells me that Lecharles would be very tempted to snap the ball to a stud QB like Bledsoe if given the opportunity and money to do so.

Hey Bledsoe4MVP, just wanted to let yo know that http://www.sportshumanitarian.com/2005_Inductees/bios/bledsoe.html site in your sig has expired:)
Sorry if its off topic, but just wanted to let ya know

if we can have just ONE from that list i'd go with viniatery. we're in the playoffs in 2005 had we had a semi-reliable kicker.

Joe Nedney / Kicker = No more games lost due to kicking issues.

something weird is going on, we're agreeing all the time:laugh2: :laugh2:

Nedney would be a nice addition. Reliable FG kicker(more reliable than Vinatieri for close FGs), cheaper than Vinatieri.

Only difference we have is, your Southlake highschool basketball team, beat our North Richland Hills highschool basketball team by 2 points last night.:) But in all seriousness, we will continue to have close games at some point this year, and If it comes down to a field goal, it would be a shame to miss the playoffs or possibly even home field advantage or something over a field goal.

Nedney had the best percentage of all the free agent kickers, and he kicks out doors, he made 2 of 3 from + 50, and he shouldn't require as much money as the big namers.

haha so you go to high school? Nice to meet you

and: we have a basketball team??? I thought Southlake got rid of that to pay for its football money, you know, for our indoor facilities and all...
