Wright just led the team in tackles for the 2nd week in a row and had a pick. It is so funny that some of you think that he isn't playing well. It is sad that you are so clueless.
Like I said, this same website 95 percent thought joseph played better in preseason. Don't take them seriously regarding cornerback play

He played fine all things considered. I think part of the issue is people look at how well Bland has played and expect that of Wright. To be fair Bland has given up TDs but has also made plays on the ball and gotten INTs. With Diggs not getting much attention teams are going to throw at the second corner, so if it’s Wright, bossmanfat or A.Brown, Bland they are all gonna get opportunities. I don’t wanna hear crap about Wright. If our second round pick would actually perform this would be a non issue.

Also, I’m sick of some people on here giving bossmanfat a pass because he’s good on special teams. That’s like me completing college to be a doctor and I’m now manager at the local burger joint. That’s good, but the investment don’t match. I don’t want to hear **** about Nashon Wright until we fully obliterate bossmanfat as a big reason we are in this mess at Corner.

According to the coaches Joseph played better. Again, when Brown got hurt who did they turn to first to replace him?

Unless you are gonna argue that the Cowboys and Quinn purposely played the worse CB first.

At the end of the day, both are weak and are going to be picked on come postseason. Quinn is going to have to shade coverages, etc.

He sure doesn't look weak when he comes up a makes a tackle. You really need to go back and look at the game again.

LOL.

This is a tough call. Think the coaches know more or you?

In reality, Wright and Joseph aren’t good enough and with Brown a FA it’s likely they are shopping for a starting CB in FA or the draft in 2023. Unless Brown comes back cheap.

Wright and Joseph are similar, but Joseph has more upside. You can see the speed differential too, it's a problem and likely can't be answered until next year.

Joseph is done. He’s even doing dumb things on special teams now. CB is going to be a priority it would seem this off-season.

Although knowing Jerry and Stephen, Brown coming off a serious Achilles injury is right up their alley. They can get him for cheap.

I thought Wright has showed marked progress. I certainly thought it would be much worse than it has been but actually, he’s been kind of good IMO.

WE should have drafted two other Corners in this years draft - not just D. Bland.

This CB draft was so deep that we could have gotten a good corner even in the 6th round. Bust Man Fat and No-shon are terrible.

This is just another case our GM doesn't know football and things having the "title" makes him look smart.

See it's not that hard. Some fans know what they're watching, some dont.

This is still a bend but don't break defense, that plays a lot of man coverage. If our single high free safety was faster, our cornerbacks would not need to play 10 yards off the ball.

If we are a team dependant alot on man coverage why did we draft Noshon? He simply is not a man coverage type of corner and simply doesn't have the speed and quickness to do so.

A lot of people have been scratching their heads over that pick. Maybe it was the height/length he brings to the table.

He had two pass breakups and an interception yesterday, so he does have a bit of an upside. He has no problem tackling. He's a smart player that plays with a lot of energy and effort. And it's that energy, effort and length that helps him overcome his slow change of direction. With more experience he could be a decent CB.

I dont think it'd an either/or. One's a penalty machine due to technique and Wright get's picked in the 2nd (after projecting as a possible non-draftee) because of his height.

He also led the team in total tackles ...........as stated, yes he's still learning but how can you not be encouraged.

Like I said, he's a smart player. One week a receiver caught the ball and fell down. Wright just stood over him and didn't touch him. He wanted him to get up...leave the ball, try tossing it to the ref, or strip it from him. But Wilson came in and touched the receiver down.

On his interception that you've posted, he started backing away from the tightend even before the ball was thrown. You can always find a use for a smart player.
