They interviewed their Uncle. The Uncle said that the older one was a "loser" who was illiterate and who got what he deserved. No joke.

Uncle sounds like me. He has made his family tree a bonzai tree. In my case not because they are terrorists, but too many of them are cholos

From what I've read its seems they will make this about bullying rather than any kind of political vendetta.

Who is they?

It is what it is and that is nut jobs. Whether motivated by bullying or political views it just comes down to someone with crazy ideas. These guys, Dormer, Holmes, etc. are just unstable.

I don't think he said they were illiterate.

I heard him say that they were losers and they couldn't settle themselves so they hated everyone who could.

Dude was pretty well spoken on the situation.

My guess is that the older one dragged the younger one into this.
Either way, little brother is a murderer too, and is toast

Sorry
http://www.businessinsider.com/dzho...sarni-boston-marathon-suspects-bombing-2013-4

sarni told WBZ-TV in Boston earlier Friday that the two suspects — Dzhokar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev — do not deserve to live, and he apologized to their victims. “He deserved his. He absolutely deserved his,” Tsarni said of Tamerlan, who was killed early Friday morning. “They do not deserve to live on this earth.”
In the press conference, Tsarni called both of the suspects "losers" and he urged Dzhokar to turn himself in. He said that any notion of Islam playing a part in the attacks is "fraud."
"What I think was behind it: Being losers," he said.
"I respect this country. I love this country," said Tsarni, who was visibly angry throughout the press conference. "This country gives chance to everybody else."

You can run away, or just look at it for what it is. There are 1.5 BILLION Muslims on the planet. Very few do things like this. In fact most victims of these nuts tend to be other Muslims.

I think you're probably right. However, it seems like the father and mother haven't been helpful in creating an environment that allowed them to adapt successfully.

Right. Sadly people are saying the younger one was better with people and was doing well. Probably got sucked in. Once he got in on it...well all that is gone. Hunt him down.

No, I'm not burying my head in the sand over this. I just don't want to say anything that may get me banned, especially with the draft coming up.

Understandable.

Were they trying to bomb MIT? Because it'd be pretty foolish to stay in Boston after Monday. Figured they'd be on a one way flight to Russia by monday evening.

Apparently, they robbed a convenience store close to MIT, and shot an MIT police officer in his squad car. They also carjacked a man and his Mercedes, made him withdraw money from various ATMs as well. MIT was just a scene, not a target it would appear. They even told the man the carjacked they were the Marathon bombers.

I hope freedom of thought on this matter is given a lot of leeway, people should not be afraid to express themselves with a strong opinion they feel is right because they don't want to get banned from discussing topical matters. I implore those who handle such matters to let the free exchange of ideas, even ones we thing are wrong, to proceed, as long as they don't go over a VERY high bar of what would be considered incivility.

Most people will do what they're told and think as they're told, while at the same time thinking they are freely thinking.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Uncle on the matter. My man said his piece, took a few questions, pushed the mic back and told the reporters to leave his property.

THAT's how you handle the media.

You can absolutely discuss things in this thread within the parameters of the forum guidelines.

A gentle reminder was posted, but people for the most part have been discussing the latest news without delving too deep into the politics of the matter.

But if people feel like they can't discuss this situation without the added political discourse and decide to stay out of the thread, then I applaud them for their self-restraint.

Yes he was. Very good interview. Very emotional. I had heard illiterate from someone telling me about this interview but it seems it is not in here. Sorry for that. This is full 9 minute interview

No need for that my friend. We'd love your input...within the guidelines of course.
