Washington is still towards the bottom in terms of talent depth of teams left in the playoffs. But in my opinion, I would rather see the brand of ball they play than any team in the east.... save Chicago, if they ever get their chemistry together. The amount of carless plays they make for a veteran team, with their kind of passing skills is amazing. Not to mention the inconsistent outside shooting.

edit: kinda disrespecting otto porter as well (butler isn't even in the rotation :/ )

Porter is a lot younger. He should be around for a good while. Butler and Pierce are one step away from canes and walkers

that's not why they loss :/
It wasn't that big :/

it messed with their chemistry. when you are just coming together, any bit of change in chemistry can hurt. but also what hurts is they tend to go through scoring droughts, where the entire team seems to struggle at the same time.

they go through scoring droughts because they are predominately a jump shooting team, only creative scorers off the bounce consistently are Schroder, and Teague. When the shots aren't falling... they become pedestrian.

If Pierce is in a walker, than walkers are in style, because he's been big in the clutch in the playoffs. Otto has been a swiss army knife, his rebounding, energy and shooting.. has been big, not to mention his defense on DeRozan, & today on Kyle Korver. He is the future @ SF.

Thabo is a solid role player, but the Hawks replaced him.. he was injured before the police injury, He was in and out of the line up since late January... logging 23 or 24 DNP's since Feb... So no one is saying "If only they had Thabo"

I know, Pierce and Duncan are giving mad props to the AARP players of the NBA.

Hawks are perfect example of a team that played its best ball the first 50 games.

i'd still pick them in the series but it should be very close and neither of these clubs has much shot at the Finals imho.

Congrats to steph....MVP
the game came so easy to him... his ball handle is super creative, and his passing skills are elite... best player in the league this year imo...
not to mention, probably the best shooter in the league... good for him... hope he tops it off with a title run.....

About what I expected from the Rockets. No CP and still out-matched at home when it was basically a must-win with him being out.

I have said it before and will say it again, Harden is over-rated. He is a great regular season guy but bites when the pressure is on. There wasn't much pressure playing Dallas, possibly the worst of the eight going into the playoffs.

He is too passive in the playoffs, almost afraid to make a mistake. It is unacceptable for our so-called MVP to go 19 consecutive scoreless minutes in the 2nd half. That is when LA took over while he was passing/turning the ball over instead of pushing it to the basket.

Clippers in 5, Houston will steal one.................

Pretty close games tonight. Cavs game was real close for them not having 3 of their best players tonight.

i dont think it came easy to steph.
he simply put in many more hours than anyone else.
he wins off pure skill.

he is essentially steve nash who just stayed in the gym more than others developing his skills.

it looks natural and easy because he has thousands of hours in for both ball handling and shooting.
but he is very average athletically.

Yup. This series is over; The Rox simply can't hang with the Clippers.

still need to get home-court back and Paul should be ready :(

if paul comes back playing as well as he left off, and blake continues to be an amazing all around force.... the rox is going to have a hard time winning this series... they just aren't very efficient... and i think the clips learned in the spurs series that efficiency is the key to winning.......
