NBA Offseason Thread

Well in Lebrons defense he goes to teams and they tear the team down to appease him. KD jumps on teams that are already good lol. Cavs, Lakers and Heat sucked before he got there.

I think people want LeBron it’s the 52 million and age that makes it tough.

And I don’t think he asked for Luka. I don’t think he even wanted him. Their type of play collides.
I think he realized quickly that he’s not even the best player on his team and that irks him.
Still don’t see them being much better next year. They are still thin, they are adding some pieces but I don’t think it’s enough to really challenge in a loaded west.
Still have OKC, Houston, Denver, GS, Minny ahead of them with San Antonio poised to take a jump into that tier. And LeBron isn’t getting better, only worse as his body breaks down.

All say this about Nico Harrison

There's talk that at some point LA may trade Lebron and the Mavs are of interest to him

If he ends up with Kyrie, AD and Lebron all while having Cooper Flagg...then trading Luka might have been a 3D chess move

Clock is ticking because age is factor, but wow

He really has built a hell of a team. The Luka thing will be a stain on his career unless Luka like retires in the next year or two….

Nico gets ZERO credit for Cooper Flagg.
ZERO. NADA. NILCH. NONE!

Getting Flagg was pure dumb luck at best, and complete corruption at worst.
I tend to agree with that, but if they were able to land Lebron (assuming he doesn't deal Flagg) then he really lucked into a great situation

There's been many reports stating that no team (including Dallas) is interested in trading 52.6M in assests for 1 year of soon to be 41 year old LeBron and rightfully so. There are reports saying the Mavs would be interested in signing him if the Lakers agree to buy out the remainder of his contract and let him choose his own team but nobody is dumb enough to trade for him. Not even Nico.
