Nico gets ZERO credit for Cooper Flagg.
ZERO. NADA. NILCH. NONE!

Getting Flagg was pure dumb luck at best, and complete corruption at worst.
If it’s corruption then he deserves credit lol…..if he had not traded Luka he wouldn’t have had a shot at Flagg. And truthfully there’s about 5 or 6 guys that would’ve helped them…Harper, Tre, Bailey, Edgecomb..

A great example of how you really have to dig deep with these guys before giving the farm away. Beal was a very good player whose stats were skewed by playing on a bad team. He also had a lengthy injury list
Beal is a good player though. Just a bad fit for the Suns. If he finds himself on the Nuggets or Clippers? Watch out.

There's been many reports stating that no team (including Dallas) is interested in trading 52.6M in assests for 1 year of soon to be 41 year old LeBron and rightfully so. There are reports saying the Mavs would be interested in signing him if the Lakers agree to buy out the remainder of his contract and let him choose his own team but nobody is dumb enough to trade for him. Not even Nico.

I tried to see what players would be given up to get to 54 million….i came up with Gafford, Klay, Caleb Martin and PJ. And I’d rather keep all those guys.

He also hasnt played more than 60 games in 6 years. He is probably a nice #3 at this point, but you cant rely on him. He is a 1st Teamer on the Porzingis All Stars now

just 18 years old, ...yet Flagg can shoot cleverly with either hand.... utterly immense combination of skill level & potential

and he hasn't finish physically growing yet, .. he could well end up being 6'11

Dude can sky and he has incredibly wingspan- long arms .... He is gonna be quite a treat to watch over the present & future years to come ...

Agreed!

We should all thank Nico for his complete incompetence.

Without Nico’s ineptitude, the Mavs would have never landed Flagg.

i thought more so that we should greatly thank NBA commissioner Adam Silver for " fixing , rigging " our very, very slim, impossible chance of winning the overall No.1 lottery pick that became Flagg, - who will be one of the greatest two way players to come around ..and easily our Best No.1 overall in the NBA ...ever ! (yes, sorrry Mark Agurirre)

He’s surreal…..and only 18….still can’t believe he’s a Mav.

Since trading Luka…..

D Lo
AD
Christie
Caleb Martin
Cooper Flagg

…dare I say Nembhard looks like potential?

In Nico we trust…..

i can't believe he's just 18 years old a..and yet plays the game like he's a seasoned vet .. what savvy and impressive knack and instincts for the game.

Just wait until he gets phsyically stronger ..and develops/improves his trey shot that much more ...

Do we think maybe his 3 point trey shooting will eventually be Dirk/ Luka like ..?

i do wish it was a way we could've kept Grimes, who i really like a great deal better than Klay Thompson & Caleb Martin
he had a nice trey game, much more consistent than Klay . and could put the ball on the floor for drives to the rim .- create his own shot.

But understandably, Grimes wanted a chance for much more money, bigger contract and starting role ( in Philly) ..he's already shining big in Brotherly Love city.
