That's got zero to do with where Kawhi finds happiness. He's not fanboy dazed by rosters. He just wants to come home. Let the bidding begin, LA.

Then what IS he playing basketball for, just to collect a paycheck? He doesn't want to compete and win a championship? He has no shot at that with the Clipps. He has said repeatedly he wants to play with Lebron and the Lakers. And don't bring up the George comparison. He resigned in OKC for the max contract and that 5th year. It never was about winning a championship as he said in the doc. That was a lie.

If championships matter then why come to LA at all?.. He'd be going to GS. He has not "repeatedly," said anything except wanting to be in LA. The dude barely ever talks. You've been listening to the media hype so much, you believe the hype about it must be the Lakeshow for Kawhi. When you repeat that drivel you hurt your argument so bad. Kawhi cares nothing about the Lakers other than them being in LA.

I told you why, to play with Lebron and the Lakers. After Lebron signed with LA, it was reported Kawhi wanted to be traded to the Lakers. Where have you been?

You believe the hype. Kawhi never said that. So gullible.

Otay. I'm done with your posts. It was name calling. You called me out being gullible.
You are gullible if you believe the reason Kawhi wants to be in LA is because Lebron is a Laker. Kawhi said he wanted to be in LA long before LeBron came aboard there. The media went nuts with rumors of why Kawhi want's to be in LA ever since LeBron signed with the Lakers. But in reality, Kawhi barely ever says anything and never expressed a desire to be teammates with LeBron as a Laker. LA is home to Kawhi and so the Lakers or Clippers would be equally appealing to for him to play.

Marcus Smart is a really, really good player.
Better than people realize and and a winning piece.
He has to learn to hit 3's but he has a ceiling that's basically Klay Thompson if he does.
He is tough as nails and will defend anyone.
He is a true gym rat that lives the game and has leadership qualities.
Smart will add 5 wins a year to any team just by those seemingly random clutchs plays he makes. One things that stood out in game 7 loss to Cleveland, even when the game was basically decided in the last minute, Smart was still making plays that could have put them back in the game.

His two offensive foul draws on Harden were textbook how to be a "pest". Flop? Yes. But flopping isnt a negative if you can pull it off

Actually you guys pretend he held a press conference saying this.
He hasn't.
It's all rumor.
And rumors are aplenty he actually DOESN'T wanna play with LBJ and that he wants to go to the Clips.
End of the day the Lakers could have traded for him and didn't.
Same way they didn't trade for PG13.
That team has the 10th best projected wins with one of the league's most ball dominant players, they aren't as appealing as Lakers fans pretend.

Just saw OKC got Dennis Schroder in the Melo trade. Schroder is one of those players I really dont know what to make of. There are some starter level skills, but right now he seems like an inefficient scorer and a non defender. But that was on a bad Hawks team last year, and the year before he seemed poised to break out on a decent Hawks team

GO SPURS GO

good riddance to the Coward of 619. Enjoy the Canada and all the lost money. It must suck to be neutered by your own uncle, and then led around on a short leash like a bum steer.

Adios Danny, thanks for the decade of 3 and D.

DD and JP welcome to SA......

...or the Clippers, he just wants to be in LA.
Keep in mind Kawhi played out 4 years of a rookie contract then chose to sign the 5 year 95m deal in San Antonio.
He obviously at that point had zero issues with being 9 years out of LA.

The culture there changed when Duncan retired and Kawhi and Parker weren't friends.
He feels like they were pressuring him to play hurt right before a supermax contract as signed and he didn't like it.
Hard to know all the stuff that went on but basically he was leaving SAS 100% and he knew Pop was never going to last until a proposed new supermax contract ran its course.

TOR is now in same position OKC was last year with George. They get a year to sell him on the team, his teammates and to a far lesser degree the city.
NBA players are very aware how easy it is to travel via plane and get anywhere they wanna be for off-seasons.
