Again you just repeat this because it emotionally seems relevant to you; however, anyone involved in statistical analysis would consider starter vs starter stats to be more specific than just season totals.

Feel free to call out to them for support of your position. And both you and they can take the time to continue to debate the validity of the numbers even further than that. You can break them down by down and distance, area of the field, players they ran behind, players they ran against. Take it wherever else you feel it needs to go. I have all the numbers I need to validate my position, I don't need anyone to approve of them or validate or attempt to invalidate them.

Selective intrepretation would be if I tried to omit certain games or that type of thing. Just using the most specific stats of when they were starters is not gerrimandering.

Sure it is. I don't care who's name gets called before the game to know who performed better.

Because when people find stats they don't like, they simply find new ways to try to undermine and invalidate them. And they fail.

mine too. Thats why i trust the team in what theyre doing, if thats with mcfadden then i can run with it and cheer for him

While I'm certainly critical, in no way am I rooting for McFadden to fail. I want to cheer for him and for him to succeed as well. I'm just not giving him any benefit of the doubt. He has to show me first.

So your saying that your opinion would be better than a panel of experts on the subject...

I think there was a poster that believes Jeff Heath could be the Cowboys best Safety of all time if they would just start him. He also said he had all the evidence he needs.

Go find that 'panel'. I can find hundreds more people that would call McFadden a bust than wouldn't. Of course they all don't have degrees in Math so they likely don't count.

Totally unrelated, but whatever.

McFadden has the speed that we haven't seen in Dallas since Dorsett. Let's hope he can stay healthy, b/c if he can, Dallas will have landed another steal, and real talent at a fraction of the price.

I think I will put my money on Felix Jones being faster than McFadden. Faster than Dorsett? NOOOOOO!!!!!

I watched a YouTube video of the 1980 Divisional Playoff between the Cowboys and the Rams. I forgot how fast Dorsett was until I watched that video.

Did you know he led oakland in rushing? 6th in receiving and 2nd in tds? who are these rbs who were better?

only other rb had any kind of season and that was latavious murray and that was 1 game vs kc, and that was a crazy ending game. murray had 4 carries for 112 and 2 tds. he didnt score another td in any game last yr. The OL was horrible.

Im wondering if you saw anything involving the raiders last yr or just trying to be clever with the post because u dont like mcfadden?

I only saw the KC game and dont know much about McF. just what I have read.
I dont like or dislike him.
I will judge him on what he does this season.

That is a very reasonable and well thought out position. His past situation is much different than his current one. Good job!

For a fan that may work, but to gamble on a big contribution as a GM is foolish.

It would be like letting Dez walk and signing Darius Hayward-Bey or Michael Crabtree to replace him
