can you guys imagine what it would've meant if Nebraska would've beaten OU in the Big 12 championship game?
Nebraska gets leveled by 20 by Oklahoma state, who finished 6-6 and next to last (over only Baylor) in the big 12 south.
Yet Nebraska gets a chance to win the Big 12 title because the north was such garbage this year. OU isn't that good either, but Nebraska was clearly about the number 6 or 7th best team in its own conference yet got a shot at the title. pathetic.
They should've just forgone the Big 12 championship game this year, because it would've cause more confusion than clarity if it had gone the other way.
Meanwhile, Ohio St gets to skip playing Wisconsin, who is a DARN good football team this year. And also, Michigan gets PUNISHED because the Big 10 doesn't have a title game and so Florida gets two extra weeks of exposure.
College football, while the best sporting event known to mankind, is F'ed up.
I wish I could stop watching it until they fix it.
