Flo's been pretty good against top pash rushers, and since Allen's a little bigger than most speed rushers, I think he'll be ready for the challenge (and he'll probably get some help from the TEs/RBs). You're right... so we should have nothing to worry about! 2-9 all time against us This is really my only concern, but our run d has been stout all year...and he's prone to give up the rock a couple of times. Scandrick has actually been playing better as the season has worn on & if he plays outside 21 & 41 will lock him down! I have faith that Wade will have this defense prepared...they haven't been abused all season!
BELIEVE!!!!!
This is my take on the Vikings.
Especially Allen. I'll give him credit because he is a very very good player, but he's not great. He not a dynamic pass rusher with elite quickness. His production is fantastic but he gets it as much on effort than ability. He won't quit and he'll get his sacks, but they tend to be more often coverage sacks.
He's tailor made for Adams and will not be the matchup concern most will make him to be.
You know what really jumps out at me about the Vikings that has me feeling good about the game. It has nothing to do with Xs and Os or the match-ups which I think favor us.........
It has to do with whom they've played and when they've played them. Go look at their schedule.
They played the Packers twice early with an injured and limited OL. That's when the Packers were on pace to surrender 80 sacks.
They haven't played and certainly haven't beaten anyone close to what the Dallas Cowboys are bringing to Minnesota this week.
I'm just not impressed with their body of work to this point. The good teams they've beaten just weren't playing well when they beat them.
I don't think they'd beat Baltimore this weekend and I really don't think they would've beaten the Packers last weekend.
They did look awesome for 10-12 weeks, but look at the last 4-6 and compare it to ours. They were killed by Carolina and Arizona. And then beat up on a Giants team that quite.
I think we clean their clock Sunday.
