Never thought we'd be this bad

No, they didn't. We were down by exactly one field goal. Our D was playing great. Our offense was bad but they hadn't made any big mistakes. All of which I was pointing out as it happened.

haha, man, yes they did. I know it's great to come out and say 'I knew all along we would win!' but the reality is, the first half SUCKED! It was bad, boring and embarrasing. We couldn't run or pass and our defense got no pressure at all on the QB. On top of all that, we had a bazillion undermining penalties!

Now, we won and it's all good...I think it was just a case of coming out uninterested in the game and playing to the level of the Texans. But you'd be lying to say that things didn't look bad at halftime

I'm not backtracking. If we play like we did today against Indy or Carolina (you know...a GOOD team) we will lose.

Your saying even with a +3 Turnover ratio, we still couldnt beat those teams? not to mention 170 yards rushing? how is that playing bad? explain that

get real...

you just feel dumb you made this post.

Head over the the official game thread and check out the posts leading up to halftime. You'll find me and next to nobody else pointing out that we weren't in that bad of shape. And we weren't. I was right, ledge jumpers were wrong.

Not at all. Against those teams we would be down by a lot more than three at the half. The opportunity to get those INTs would be lessened because the leading team wouldn't be slinging the ball willy-nilly.

Speak for and about yourself about feeling dumb.

Wow...we suck, folks. We are life and death with the Texans? Even if we win this game the truth is this: We are in no way ready for the upper 50% or the NFL. 8-8 may be a generous prediction if we keep this up.

Hillarious!!!!!!!!! :lmao2: :lmao: :laugh2:

My original post stands. Yes, we beat the Texans. Against a good team we lose.

Your negativity is overwhelming. You should be embarrased by your post. You have no clue how we will play next or how any team will play next

Well, thanks for telling me how I should feel, dad.

Of course I want us to win...I just don't have the rose-colored glasses on.

Yep, if we rush for 170 yards against the Colts and hold the Colts to 34 yards rushing, cause a bunch of TO's and not turn the ball over ourselves, we're in big troubleagainst Indy. We'll run all over the Colts and beat them.

Ain't gonna happen against the COLTS! That's the point!

I knew this was going to happen. All week people have been posting it: Bledsoe will get a win and then everyone will stop noticing the emperor and his lack of clothes. Whatever, guys...live in your denial.

Yeah, it's been posted hundreds of times all week. We beat a horrible team and everyone thinks Bledsoe is our guy. Some people are just that ignorant.

I'm not talking about Bledsoe. The Colts can't stop the run. We're in the Top 5 in the NFL in rushing offense. We'll beat the Colts. And if we don't turn the ball over we'll definitely win. If the turnover battle in any game is a push, we'll win most of the time.

It must be a drag to live a life where no matter what the outcome of a game is you can't just sit back for a few minutes and savor the win.

Nothing wrong with talking about problems, but sometimes people just seem to go beyond that.

They complain early in the game like the game is over and than get mad at people when they point out the game is 60 minutes and we won.

Whether we play well next week or not...take a deep breath, be thankful for a win and for once actually enjoy the victory instead already complaining again.

Geez people.

I actually think there are a few people that would be happy if we did lose so they could complain more or pull a I told you so post.

That would be nice. We need to generate some kind of pass rush to have a chance against Manning, though.

Good post, but I, for one, hope that posters do not run Tass off this board. He has got to have the most beautiful sig on the net. He could've edited himself out of it though ( j/k Tass ;) )

Skip: You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry!
Larry: Lollygaggers!
Skip: Lollygaggers.
