These ranking are for the local citys ONLY and not the nation. Thought it was interesting. Got it off a Jags site that's why they are bold.
Pittsburgh Again The Top-Rated NFL TV Market
Pittsburgh has retained its top spot in local market TV ratings among NFL markets with a 42.8, despite that being down 4.9% from last year’s Super Bowl-winning season. Phoenix, despite another losing season by the Cardinals, saw the biggest increase, up 63.4%, while the Ravens’ run to the playoffs fueled a 41.1% increase in the Baltimore market. New Orleans was not measured by Nielsen during the ’06 regular season (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 1/8).

A Nielsen media point is a % of TV homes that tune it to watch a show. So for example a 1.0% Nielsen number means 1% of all homes, apartments etc. watched the show.
This year an average of 28% of all TV homes watched Jaguar football games. Jacksonville's local TV ratings were stronger then TV numbers in NY, Baltimore, D.C., and Cleveland. Yet those markets are considered more supportive of NFL football.
