Now before you say there is no way JJ is going to step aside........IF you had a choice between hiring a NEW COACH OR a NEW GM for the coming season which would it be and why? My answer will come later in the thread.

Stop wasting our time.....it has been very clear, ..very clear to everyone....that Jerry Jones is not stepping down. Why don't you find something new to discuss that is logical and brings some value to the discussion.

New GM. Because without question, if not immediately then at least within a year or two, the GM will bring in his own head coach. I'll can Jerry and let the new GM can Garrett. How's that?

Why would Jerry treat a new GM any differently than he has treated every coach since Jimmy Johnson

New GM, new coach won't make a difference if Jerry is still in charge.

If you answer GM, the head coach thing takes care of itself.

If I could have one wish in the sport world it would be for Jerry to sell the Cowboys to anyone sane. It's not enough for him to be gone. I want the whole family out. I don't even like the teenager in the war room.

GM , because no self respecting GM would keep this sorry HC for a day

Yeah, I was wondering if this was a trick question or something.

Hey, real quick. Jessica Alba or Roseanne Barr? For suspense, I'll withhold my answer for awhile.

Hey, if you are a fan of chunky stuff, who are we to judge

A new GM will eventually get you a new coach.

Yes, GMs make that choice, so by getting a new GM, we actually get a new coach, too ... so I think the choice would be obvious.

New GM. For one, a NEW GM would def. fire Garrett and even if he didn't, as long as he had full control of the personal, it can't be worse then Jerry picking guys he likes, wouldn't take years to fix the o-line/d-line etc.

I feel like with a new GM, we'd also have more depth. A coaching change will not fix all our problems and Garrett does need to go but that's a fact.

So the majority think that Garrett is the REAL problem? Is it possible that WITHOUT JJ interfering with every move Garrett makes it is possible he gets better at the job? The guy, weather you like him or not, knows the game.......

If the GM could get us a new HC quickly, then this question is too easy.

How about if new coach or new GM with the condition that if you got a new GM, Garrett gets another guaranteed 5 years here?

We need to start a movement to get a new coach (Auburn coach Gus Mazahn) and draft a QB (A.J. McCarron). I think these two would be a winning combination.

Jerry will never let someone else be GM...pointless to debate. Even though a blind monkey would do better.

A new GM..............because he would take one look at Opie's body of work over the past 4 seasons and he would be on the floor from laughing so hard.

Thus, we kill two birds with one stone.

He's part of it but till JJ takes his ego out of it and stays out of the football decisions, we'll have the same problems with the next guy.
