Word out of Philadelphia is quarterback Nick Foles MAY have a broken collarbone.

Are the Eagles still a contender with Mark Sanchez; and how might the Cowboys benefit??

LOL, are you serious. Foles has been the biggest impediment to this team all year. Sanchez out played Foles in preseason and looked so much better than Foles today.

4-6 weeks is the traditional healing time for a broken collarbone. If it is broken, there's a decent chance he'll miss the first game against Dallas, and possibly the second as well.

Over the next four weeks they play the Panthers, Packers, Titans and Dallas. The Seahawks afterwards.

Fairly difficult schedule, so we'll see.

I think they are still a contender with Buttfumble... but it is hard to imagine they will be as good. As for how the Cowboys benefit. When we play the Eagles twice in 3 weeks, we already are playing them on advantageous situations (on Romo's favorite day one week and on an extra 3 days rest two weeks later) this will just add to that.

The Eagles still beat Houston 31-21 today.

I look at Sanchez like Weeden against the Skins. They both came in during the middle of the game when the team they were facing weren't prepared for either of them. Once Sanchez is the starter now teams can scheme against him and it won't be as easy for him. Sanchez was fine today, next week and the following weeks he might not be.

As for us, look we're fine. There are 4 teams in the NFC with 6 or more wins and we are one of them. We have Philly twice so the goal is still in front of us. We control what we do from here on out. We just have to go out and do it.

Sanchez might actually be better,Foles was the worst thing about that offense which will kill us if we dont get our act together.

No need to apologize. I just think the info has been out for a while.

Thanks. When the Cowboys lose, I walk away from football for a while. I heard during the game Foles was hurt, but I just learned that it's a collarbone a while ago.

If Foles is lost Sanchez has his work cut out the next two weeks. Carolina and GB will be tough to overcome.

Losing Foles will have an impact no matter what anyone wants to believe. The kid will take a shot to make that deep throw while Sanchez panics and throws prematurely. Lucky for Philly they didn't have Cushing or Clowney to deal with today.

If you watch any eagles games and talk to any eagles fan, you'd realize that this is looked at as a positive for the eagles.

Panthers suck, they just dont have an effective pass rush this year and their offensive is mostly benjamin, eagles will beat them easily.
