Kelly's a good coach and his offense is player friendly, but I think we're overselling both if we think any QB can make it go. If Sanchez sucks, so will the offense. IMHO, anyway.

I agree that he's probably not as bad as the NYJ made him look, but I don't think he'll come in and be better than Foles, either. Actually, I think he'll be a small step down. Like you said, we'll see...real soon.

Hope you're right. A small step down from Foles is... Well, he wasn't exactly setting the world on fire, either.

LOL, are you serious. Foles has been the biggest impediment to this team all year. Sanchez out played Foles in preseason and looked so much better than Foles today.

Ok. Foles has Eagles in 1st place at 6-2.
So that is crazy talk.

Sanchez gets a bad rap for someone that was one game from Super Bowl 2 years in a row right out of college,
I blame Rex more than mark.

Anyways, I was thinking that Sanchez might be a busted unit. But he still may have something left?
Now that he is starter, let's see what he does with it.

I don't believe Sanchez is all that, but I would trade Weeden for him in a second.

Them losing Foles is a big loss. The guy has them top 5 in practically every offensive category except rushing, which was part of their problem. Most of their offensive line has been out the first part of the year and are set to return intact next week.

I assume the running game will be their bread and butter again, like last year, but don't minimize the Foles injury.

Sanchez on his best day is not as good as Foles on his worst.

Losing Ryan's will also hurt them. He's not their most talented defensive player, but he calls the plays and captains their defense.

Losing Ryans will hurt more than Foles, without Chip Kelly, Foles is mediocre at best.

Truth is, I think we all (on both sides of an opinion) rush to judgment on players, in general. I know that Sanchez has had some starts, been in the playoffs, etc., but he hasn't played much in a while and was in a horrible situation with the Jets when he did play. Personally, I don't think he'll be quite as good as Foles, but we'll find out soon. He's probably going to have a minimum of 6 wks to show what he's got.

The Eagles bigger loss could be losing Ryan's at MLB. Best player on their D.

That's the key injury.....Sanchez and Foles in Chips system may be a wash....But Ryans was playing great ball, this will be a blow to an already suspect Defense.....Murray could be a major factor, with a healthy Romo.

Word out of Philadelphia is quarterback Nick Foles MAY have a broken collarbone.

Are the Eagles still a contender with Mark Sanchez; and how might the Cowboys benefit??

Considering how we made Colt McCoy look, I wouldn't rule out anything.

Please God, don't let this be one of those years the Giants somehow stumble into the playoffs and win a Super Bowl.

This is funny and not funny at the same time. I'm either crying hysterically enough to laugh or laughing hysterically enough to cry. I'll let you know in awhile which one or both.

Yeah but Nick Foles sorta sucks too. He strives to be average.

I beg to differ. A Defensive player can be replaced. A good quarterback can't. The guy has won 15 out of 19 games he started under Kelly. That ability doesn't just grow on trees.

If there is a system that can turn Mark Sanchez into a good quarterback, what the hell are we doing wasting time with an Air Coryell variant?

Well, looks like the Giants are done for the season.............................and Prince A, their best CB and the guy who followed Dez all over the field tore his bicep and is done for the year, same injury we lost Durant to.

The Skins won their SuperBowl last week and went right back to sucking again.

The Eagles lost their best defensive player in Demarco Ryan with a torn Achilles and Nick Foles broke his collarbone...............enter Mark "butt fumble" Sanchez to QB the rest of the season for them:lmao:

Seriously, if we cant win the division this year, the entire coaching staff should be fired for incompetence.......................it aint going to get any easier than this, if Garrett cant win it this year then its hopeless.
