If Sanchez was better, he would be the starter.

The IGGLES have no vested money or contract in Foles. So they don't have to start him.

Every backup comes in and plays well. It's adrenaline. The game a backup starts is when the nerves come.

Sanchez will choke. I have no doubt.

LOL at the eagle trolls. They were singing a different tune about Foles last year and the start of this year

It's been a pretty quick change in tune from them. From best QB in the division to a bum in 8 weeks.

Foles is average IMO. But Sanchez, the guy has been below average his entire career. It's a downgrade folks.
It will be evident next Monday vs Carolina.

Don't sleep on Sanchez. He's won playoff games on the road. And Foles is extremely overrated so I wouldn't get too excited by Foles being out.

I'm not. Sanchez is average but the success he had w/Jets shouldn't be ignored. They replaced him w/Geno because Idzik and Rex aren't too smart.

He also had a top 3 D when he did that. That the Eagles certainly are not.

Now why would Romo's broken collarbone sideline him for the rest of the 2010 season but Foles' broken collarbone here wouldn't sideline Foles for the 2014 season? Different kind of injury?

Sanchez wasn't playing smart either. Foles' presence will be missed.

Philly fans deserve what happened to them today, not their quarterback. Foles seems like a respectful down-to-earth type of guy so I really do feel bad that he got injured. He's not one of the quarterbacks I hate.

These are the same heartless cowards that were cheering when Victor Cruz went down and was in tears being carted off the field. This is not the first and I'm sure won't be the last time they cheer when a divisional rival player gets seriously injured. I am so glad that they got a dose of their own medicine. Once again, I hate that this happened to Foles, but ecstatic Philly fans got what they deserve.

Cry and weep, Philly! Cry and weep!

I will and you can believe what you want. You can pretend Foles is as you describe him but if it weren't for him y'all wouldn't have been in the playoffs last year and you'd be sitting at a worse record right now.

Sanchez filled in and stepped up today, but if he's the starter moving forward your offense will eventually become ineffective.

Foles was great last year. For whatever reason Foles is terrible this year. One of the worst startiing QBs in the entire league. 9 INTs. 3 lost fumbles. Constantly throwing it up for grabs as he bails out. 59% Completions. QBRating of 80.

Sorry, but you have no idea what you are talking about regarding Foles. With an average Trent Dilferish QB we would be 8 and 0. Terrible vs 49ers. Below average vs Cardinals. Both games that we literally lost by inches.

Sanchez had the talent to go 5th overall...and the misfortune to be drafted by a bad franchise with a Defensive coach. Now in an offensive system that much better suits his talent, with a coach who specializes in offence.

Spot on! Now they all think Sanchito is the answer and savior... Much like Weedsuck last week. Careful what you wish for

Different degrees of injury.

Rodgers broke his collarbone last year in week 8 and returned to start week 16.

Not sure if Romo <could have> come back earlier from his collar-bone in 2010 if it had happened earlier in the season.

Geez man they had a great defense and amazing run game . Very little to do with Sanchez . Have you seen keepernick play this year ?

I hate when ppl think Qbs win game by themselves .
