New Era Scouting Rumor: 'Boys like Cason and Flowers

Cason wouldn't be a reach in my opinion. Ask Hos for more details on that one. Just because one of us believe it to be, doesn't mean the Cowboys have not done their homework on the player they covet.

I'm sorry, I know that some members have been on this site for a while, and some get the added "respect" that comes from many posts, but i am at a loss for the "respect" for hos. Unless that member is secretly Jerry, or Stephen, or Matt Mosley, then I dont give his opnions any more credence than anyone elses on this site. (reference my sig...particularly applicable here)

What I can tell you is where 90% of the maybe 25-30 major site mock drafts have Antoine Cason going. Doesnt mean that he truly isnt a #22 value. And it doesnt mean that 1 team doesnt love him and wont take him before we think he will go. But I think I will form my own opinons about him and his draft value based upon my personal viewings of Arizona's games and what the majority of draft experts say...not what "Hos" has to say about it. That guy gets a little too much respect on this site.

Having said that (just felt it needed to be said), I still wouldnt mind him at 22.....just not cause that's what Hos says.

Not to defend Hostile (because he doesn't need it), but in general, respect is earned on this site, not just given out due to post counts. In this particular case, Hos' opinion is taken seriously because he is in close proximity to the player in question, and likely has more accurate information on him than fans in the DFW area or elsewhere.

I don't know maybe because Hos has been tooting the Cason horn all freaking year because he's a big fan of U of Arizona and was tooting some kicker from there last year named Folk.

I think Flowers is going to be a very good corner too... but you have us taking him at 22 in your sig?

I really like him but that is way too early. He might be the best corner from this draft... but at the very least we could almost certainly get Flowers with the 28th pick and likely somewhere in round 2. He probably won't make it to 61... but I do think he'll make it into the second.

Thank you. I've never understood the post count = respect stuff that some people cling to. I can easily reset my post count to zero if I want to. I don't simply because it's a practice I don't think we want to get into here.

I was talking about Cason last year before he opted to return for his Senior year. I've seen every game he has played in his 4 years at Arizona. How dare I think I might know something about him. The gall.

I am privately rooting for Cason since Hos told me about him and I got a chance to download and watch some of his games....

Cason seems to me to be a pretty heady player (reading plays, baiting WR's) but I still can't help but think he maybe a much better Free Safety but a so-so Corner in the NFL

It is all good I was pimping Terrance Newman his Junior year when he was thinking of coming out over Jammer the guy everyone loved from UT.

Newman decided to go back for his senior year and we got him the next year but I was pimping him for a good almost 2 years so you get heat when you do that but hey sometimes you are right (yay I got one correct )
